Atheists can't accept aliens.

Faith is necessary to accept aliens.

Except it's not. I accept the belief that aliens are likely to exist without faith, because the universe is a grand (meaning large. It's honestly not that great), massive place that we have not even began to full scratch the surface of in discovery, so alien life could likely exist out there.

You're tilting at a very hazy windmill, my friend.

It's amazing how the same things reoccur in nature... Like "flight".

Flying insects, birds, pterosaurs, and bats all evolved wings independently from one another in another classic example of convergent evolution.
Yes, it's a very good way to get around; on a planet with diverse & mobile multicellular life I'd expect to find flying creatures. But note the very different implementations of the flight structures - only pterosaurs and bats seem to have comparable systems.

Faith is necessary to accept aliens.

Convincing evidence is necessary to accept aliens. Why would you believe something without being convinced by the evidence?

then tell me you do accept aliens exist

I already did. Post #421.
And that acceptance is not at all based on my personal faith. That's based on me, looking at the evidence we have about space, and looking at the facts we have about space and then me going "Well... there's a lot of planets we don't know about. So there's got to be aliens out there."

you said maybe, I ask to say they exist

Okay, let me repeat what I said in that post:
I accept the belief that aliens are likely to exist without faith, because the universe is a grand (meaning large. It's honestly not that great), massive place that we have not even began to full scratch the surface of in discovery, so alien life could likely exist out there.
Does that answer your question?

no one can be convinced

hence evidence will not convince you

Does that answer your question?

you must say you accept they do exist

then you can say faith isn't necessary

No. Accceptance or rejection of aliens should be contingent upon evidence for aliens. If there is substantial, convincing evidence then acceptance is a rational action. The atheism, or lack of it, would have no bearing upon this.

In the absence of evidence then faith may allow one to believe in aliens, but acceptance would seem inappropriate.

... Yes, that's what I've been saying. Faith is not necessary to accept that aliens exist.

I have to ask, is English not your native language?

should evidence be necessary for everything?

you can't shop without proving you're not a terrorist?

or should we let you shop in good faith

You don't have to believe in scientism to use the 'methods' of science... That's all science is - a method we can use. This is how it's possible to have "faith" and use the methods of science simultaneously.

...By separating the methods from the beliefs in our minds.

you've been saying it's likely

rather than saying you accept aliens do exist
