  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If we follow your logic, then none of us should debate or criticize what President Trump is doing because it is all irrelevant.
I do think it's irrelevant to argue about whether or not Trump is qualified or experienced enough to be President at this point. He's been elected, so he's obviously qualified (as in, he meets the legal qualifications), and those who voted for him clearly thought he wasn't lacking in experience. Should he attempt to run for a third term, we can revisit the question - which is a relevant question for the people in this forum, because we (or at least most of us) are American and old enough to vote. However, I don't think anyone here has voting privileges at the DNC, and Hogg was already elected anyways (and is likely to be forced out soon, which I've already said I support), so I'm not what what you hope to achieve by convincing people that he's not experienced enough.

I am not trying to persuade anyone. I believe the DNC made a mistake by hiring a 25-year-old man with no experience as vice-chair.

Well, he’s got three months’ worth of “experience” now, and in 18 months that’ll be nearly two years’ worth of experience.
”Experience” is the word we use to describe the doings of people learning their craft; making “mistakes” is a very large part of it.
