Disaster: Rich People Are Turning Their Backs on Trump
CNBC reports that of the 750 people it polled who have “investible assets of more than $1 million or more,” 45 percent voted for Trump and 41 percent voted for Clinton. But a good number seem to be having buyer’s remorse: when asked their views on the Apprentice host-turned-commander-in-chief last month, 50 percent said that they are now anti-Trump, 21 percent have mixed feelings, and a mere 29 percent are pro-Trump.

Trump is a smart cookie when it comes to getting attention from the media. He was in the news constantly day after day, and it was the kind of coverage that drew major attention. Trump talks about the media's effects in his book The Art of the Deal. He got a lot more media time than Clinton did.
It has been studied as to what Trump's free media coverage was worth. OpenSecrets estimated it at around $5 billion. They are probably pretty close considering what TV and radio ad time costs.

He doing the same thing today, Tweets. Everyone, especially the media, waits with baited breath to hear what he going to say next. And the media goes right out and prints it over and over again.
