I am not sure how they can claim there is no way to know the school exist if they are required to give an address. Sure there may ( or may not) be any way to prove what they are teaching at that school, but there is a way to see if there is a such address.

There is no way to prove that they are teaching at that school. Not just what they teach, but whether any teaching goes on at all.

The question is not whether a building is there, but whether a school is there.

$465? What a ripoff, Louisiana. I only had to pay $200 for my degree in neurosurgery from that school in Tijuana, and I'll have you know I've never had one single former patient voice a complaint.

Very informative. Apparently there are two hospitals in Tijuana, neither one of them claimed to specialize in neurosurgery. Not sure what that has to do with my joke post.

So what I'm hearing is that it's only slightly more predatory and more deceiving than most degree-granting institutions in the US.

If you read my posts on the matter (just search for my username and the word "homeschool" and you'll find my extensive list of critiques), it's gotten to the point where it's hard to bash these entities when the "reputable" institutions are ripping off people to an even worse degree.

"They sold me a bill of goods that ended up being false and swindled me out of $465" seems like a drop in the bucket compared to college level institutions who trick 18-19 year olds into signing on to a 10-year $60,000+ loan for a pursuit of a degree that has the same likelihood of ending in disappointment.

I guess it'll come as something of a surprise to some of these kids that if they get a job they'll actually have to work get the money. As opposed to work to get an education.
