Brothers and sisters, happy Sabbath that begins this Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:34 am EDT! Here is the passage that gives us an Eleventh Commandment with the phrase "one thing" that you have not done, after answering the question with: you know "the commandments". Jesus' answer makes the "one thing" you haven't done an additional commandment. Consistent with us knowing the additional commandment in the new covenant of following Jesus' example.

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother.’” The man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” When Jesus heard his answer, he said, “There is still one thing you haven’t done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Luke 18:18-22 NLT)

The new Eleventh Commandment was not possible before Jesus, as we could not have "followed" the example of Jesus' life before His arrival, allowing us to "surpass" the glory of the previous Ten Commandments by Jesus' example, as superior to commandments given without an exemplary life to follow. Judaism sabotaged God's commandments by adding their own laws in a "human effort", as in the story of Hagar, to fulfill God's promise of separating sin from our character thanks to the cycle of forgiveness of our High Priest in the temple in heaven.

He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant (Eleven Commandments). This is a covenant not of written laws (Ten Commandments), but of the Spirit (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus). The old written covenant ends in death (sabotaged by human effort as in the story of Hagar); but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus). The old way, with laws etched in stone (Ten Commandments), led to death (sabotaged by human effort as in the story of Hagar), though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way (Eleven Commandments), now that the Holy Spirit is giving life (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus)? If the old way (Ten Commandments), which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way (Eleven Commandments), which makes us right with God! In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way (Eleven Commandments). So if the old way (Ten Commandments), which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new (Eleven Commandments), which remains forever! (2 Corinthians 3:6-11 NLT)

Jesus did not establish the New Covenant until the end of his ministry, which means that everything that he taught prior to that point was in regard to how to live under the Mosaic Covenant. In Galatians 4:4, Jesus was born under the law, so he was obligated to obey it, which includes Deuteronomy 4:2, which prohibits adding to or subtracting from the law, so to suggest that Jesus did that is to suggest that he sinned and therefore disqualified himself as our Savior. Jesus said nothing about replacing any of God's commandments in that passage. Jesus is God's word flesh, so follow him is not in addition to following God's word. Jesus set a sinless example of how to walk in obedience to God's law, so again following his example is not something in addition to or other than following God's law. In Jeremiah 31:33, the New Covenant still involves following God's law. What Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 3:6-11 notably does not contain your parenthetical additions.

Brother, God had bean forgiving sins way before He could validate those forgivenesses through His death and resurrection. God has shown He can behave as if something was done before it is done.

Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. (Hebrews 10:11-12 NLT)
Humans can not add to the Ten Commandments, but God can and Jesus is God.

As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, “The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory, and God will be glorified because of him. And since God receives glory because of the Son, he will give his own glory to the Son, and he will do so at once. Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:31-35 NLT)
Jesus said nothing about replacing any of God's commandments in that passage. Jesus is God's word flesh, so follow him is not in addition to following God's word. To follow Jesus' example goes beyond the Ten Commandments because, as He tells us, "there is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends", a level of love not found in the Ten Commandments before Jesus, now added by Jesus' example in the Eleven Commandments after Jesus.

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. (John 15:13 NLT)

People having faith in the promised redeemer is a separate issue than claiming that Jesus taught about the New Covenant before he established it. In any case, Jesus said nothing about the New Covenant in that passage.
Humans can not add to the Ten Commandments, but God can and Jesus is God.

As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, “The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory, and God will be glorified because of him. Again, Jesus was born under the law, so he was obligated to obey it, and that includes Deuteronomy 4:2, so he did not have the freedom the transgress that law by giving a brand new commandment. Rather, what is new about his commandment is the quality of the example by which we are to love our neighbor, and indeed the Greek word used refers to newness with respect to quality rather than with respect to time:

3501 /néos ("new on the scene") suggests something "new in time" – in contrast to its near-synonym (2537 /kainós, "new in quality").

In order to correctly obey the command to love our neighbor as ourselves, we need to know how we should love ourselves, and the answer to that is that we should love ourselves as Jesus loves us, so that is how we should love our neighbors, which is teaching how to correctly obey that command, not teaching something different than it.

To follow Jesus' example goes beyond the Ten Commandments because, as He tells us, "there is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends", a level of love not found in the Ten Commandments before Jesus, now added by Jesus' example in the Eleven Commandments after Jesus.

Jesus set a sinless of example of how to walk in obedience to the Mosaic Law, which I agree goes beyond the Ten Commandments. However, teaching how we should love is teaching how we should obey the greatest two commandments, not teaching something that is beyond them.

Brother, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you. So... Jesus determined that the church could bear the laws about clean and unclean animals, but didn't tell anyone except Peter. How was the church know which of the laws of Moses Jesus had determined they could bear? United in discussing the scriptures in an edifying way!
Brother, we can bear everything given by God through Moses and more! We were to remove everything added by humans to what God had given through Moses. This is how the adoption of Moses by the Gentiles who were turning to God by listening to Moses every Sabbath would "restore the fallen house of David". Our righteousness after Jesus is to exceed their righteousness before Jesus.

“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. “But I warn you—unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven! Jesus was born under the law, so he was obligated to obey it, and that includes Deuteronomy 4:2, so he did not have the freedom the transgress that law by giving a brand new commandment.
Brother, Jesus is the only one who could resurrect Lazarus, as He tells us in the following passage.

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” (John 11:25-26 NLT)

You have given the explanation of how humans have denied that Jesus added to the commandments for a total of Eleven Commandments, but as I have already said, Jesus can add to His commandments because He is the one who gave us the Ten Commandments. Jesus tells us in the following passage that there is only one more new Eleventh Commandment to add to the previous Ten Commandments, not possible before Jesus, which is to "follow" His example when He says: "there is still one thing you haven't done".

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments (entolé): ‘You must not commit adultery.

The new Eleventh Commandment above is found in the following passage, where to do "just as I have" is to "follow" His example by keeping a total of Eleven Commandments when Jesus adds one more to the previous Ten Commandments, saying above: "there is still one thing you haven't done".

As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, “The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory, and God will be glorified because of him. And since God receives glory because of the Son, he will give his own glory to the Son, and he will do so at once. Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. Brother, everything known to Judaism before Jesus we can bear and more after Jesus. The reason we can bear more is because of the faster forgiveness cycle through our High Priest Jesus than animal sacrifices. For example, we do not feel unable to bear to learn not to misuse God's name, as Judaism felt unable to bear what God wanted, adding the human rule not to utter God's name to avoid having to learn not to misuse His name. This faster daily cycle of forgiveness that allows us to deal with more sin through prayer compared to animal sacrifices is found in the following passage. Before Jesus, the Ten Commandments were the minimum, but after Jesus we are expected to obey the maximum. There is no longer a minimum.

Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6:9-15 NLT)

So... the church has always been required to keep all of the laws given by God through Moses?
(Assuming we are required to keep all of the laws we can bear.)
If so, would this include the gentiles just coming to Christ also being able to bear those laws as soon as they hear of them in the synagogue?

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace, not from rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.

Brother, happy Sabbath, which starts this Friday December 23, 2022 at 9:40 am EST! As they listened to Moses on "every Sabbath" was the determination of the first church council in Jerusalem. If James had seen the future after 2000 years, he would be horrified that the foundational Ten Commandments given by Jesus in the following passage would be abandoned in our times for lawlessness. Instead of adding to his initial seed list as we listen to Moses "every Sabbath", the Ten Commandments were dropped and the Sabbath was replaced with Sunday. James would be horrified that Sunday is seen as a badge of honor that we no longer follow the laws of God.

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments (entolé): ‘You must not commit adultery.

James would be in disbelief that after 2000 years only a few Gentiles who are turning to God like the Seventh-day Adventist have adopted things like tithing and unclean animals onto his initial seed list while listening to Moses "every Sabbath".

When they had finished, James stood and said, “Brothers, listen to me. Peter has told you about the time God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people for himself. And this conversion of Gentiles is exactly what the prophets predicted. As it is written: ‘Afterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David. I will rebuild its ruins and restore it, so that the rest of humanity might seek the LORD, including the Gentiles—all those I have called to be mine. The LORD has spoken—he who made these things known so long ago.’ “And so my judgment is that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood. For these laws of Moses has been preached in Jewish synagogues in every city on every Sabbath for many generations.” (Acts 15:13-21 NLT fixed)

James thought God would use the Gentiles who were turning to God to "restore the fallen house of David", if they helped by not forcing us to adopt Moses through Judaism with its human rules, which Jesus was against. Only God is not a "blind guide" to know how to take away sin using laws. Our own rules invented by "blind guides" in Judaism do not take away sin. If sin is not taken away by these human rules, they do not help those who follow them.

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either. “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are! “Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! For you say that it means nothing to swear ‘by God’s Temple,’ but that it is binding to swear ‘by the gold in the Temple.’ Blind fools! Which is more important—the gold or the Temple that makes the gold sacred? And you say that to swear ‘by the altar’ is not binding, but to swear ‘by the gifts on the altar’ is binding. How blind! For which is more important—the gift on the altar or the altar that makes the gift sacred? When you swear ‘by the altar,’ you are swearing by it and by everything on it. And when you swear ‘by the Temple,’ you are swearing by it and by God, who lives in it. And when you swear ‘by heaven,’ you are swearing by the throne of God and by God, who sits on the throne. Okay, so... since the church has always been required to keep all of the laws given by God through Moses, how does that fit with keeping the feast of shelters?

Didn't we talk about the feast of shelters in the past and you said you weren't currently keeping it? But you must have heard about it by now.

Or did your thinking change? It's cool if it has. I'm not trying to nail you to the wall, I'm interested in what your current thinking is.

In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters. Any nation in the world that refuses to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, will have no rain.

Brother, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you. Okay, so... since the church has always been required to keep all of the laws given by God through Moses, how does that fit with keeping the feast of shelters? United in discussing the scriptures in an edifying way!
Brother, I want to bring along my brothers rather than to give up on my brothers to run ahead of them. I look forward to our rapid growth together in adopting Moses by focusing on breaking our growth plateau through Paul's correction of the Sabbath.

So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. (Hebrews 4:6-11 NLT)

God wanted to continue with Moses, leaving behind the people Moses invested in bringing along. Moses pleaded with the LORD to not give up on those whom he was invested in.

The LORD told Moses, “Quick! Go down the mountain! Your people whom you brought from the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves. How quickly they have turned away from the way I commanded them to live! They have melted down gold and made a calf, and they have bowed down and sacrificed to it. They are saying, ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.’” Then the LORD said, “I have seen how stubborn and rebellious these people are. Now leave me alone so my fierce anger can blaze against them, and I will destroy them. Then I will make you, Moses, into a great nation.” But Moses tried to pacify the LORD his God. “O LORD!” he said. “Why are you so angry with your own people whom you brought from the land of Egypt with such great power and such a strong hand? Why let the Egyptians say, ‘Their God rescued them with the evil intention of slaughtering them in the mountains and wiping them from the face of the earth’? Turn away from your fierce anger. Change your mind about this terrible disaster you have threatened against your people! Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You bound yourself with an oath to them, saying, ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven. And I will give them all of this land that I have promised to your descendants, and they will possess it forever.’” So the LORD changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had threatened to bring on his people. (Exodus 32:7-14 NLT)

1 Commandment. Love the Lord your God with all your whole heart, soul mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.
Brother, happy Sabbath, which started this Friday December 23, 2022 at 9:40 am EST! God does not assume we know how to love! What you have expressed is the goal of the commandments and not how to get there, expanding what it means to love with the actual Ten Commandments before Jesus. After Jesus, we no longer have an outline of the Ten Commandments but a fully fleshed out total of Eleven Commandments expressed through the exemplary life of Jesus to "follow".

And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going. So now I am giving you a new commandment (entolé): Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:31-35 NLT)

In fact, since Jesus obeyed the previous Ten Commandments and we are to "follow" His example in the new Eleventh Commandment, all the previous Ten Commandments are included in the new Eleventh Commandment. Jesus tells us in the following passage that those who truly love as God taught us are those who obey the Eleven Commandments of Jesus. Those who obey the Eleven Commandments are those who love Jesus.

Those who accept my commandments (entolé) and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” (John 14:21 NLT)

Brother, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you.

So... Am I understanding this right? You want to continue a sinful lifestyle in order to encourage your Christian brothers and sisters to grow in adopting Moses?

I don't think that's a good idea. Repenting from a sinful lifestyle is not giving up or running ahead. As the scripture says,
Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.

Brother, it is not yet clear to me how Passover is different after Jesus than before Jesus. This is what our prophetess wrote about Passover: two great festivals, one in place of the other. God may give us more light after correcting the Sabbath, which affects the ceremonial Sabbaths found in many of the festivals. I hope getting this right doesn't take as long as the Sabbath to correct. Even with the help of our prophetess, it took us 8 years to pull ourselves in the right direction and we still haven't corrected the Sabbath.
"Christ was standing at the point of transition between two economies and their two great festivals. He, the spotless Lamb of God, was about to present Himself as a sin offering, that He would thus bring to an end the system of types and ceremonies that for four thousand years had pointed to His death. As He ate the Passover with His disciples, He instituted in its place the service that was to be the memorial of His great sacrifice. The national festival of the Jews was to pass away forever. The service which Christ established was to be observed by His followers in all lands and through all ages." (The Desire of Ages, p. 652.)

Paul suggests a change in the symbolism of the bread.

Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us. So let us celebrate the festival, not with the old bread of wickedness and evil, but with the new bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:7b-8 NLT)

Here is the old way to keep the Passover with the death of an animal in place of the future death of Jesus.

“This is a day to remember. Each year, from generation to generation, you must celebrate it as a special festival to the LORD. This is a law for all time. For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast. On the first day of the festival, remove every trace of yeast from your homes. Anyone who eats bread made with yeast during the seven days of the festival will be cut off from the community of Israel. On the first day of the festival and again on the seventh day, all the people must observe an official day for holy assembly. No work of any kind may be done on these days except in the preparation of food. “Celebrate this Festival of Unleavened Bread, for it will remind you that I brought your forces out of the land of Egypt on this very day. This festival will be a permanent law for you; celebrate this day from generation to generation. The bread you eat must be made without yeast from the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month until the evening of the twenty-first day of that month. During those seven days, there must be no trace of yeast in your homes. Anyone who eats anything made with yeast during this week will be cut off from the community of Israel. These regulations apply both to the foreigners living among you and to the native-born Israelites. During those days you must not eat anything made with yeast. Wherever you live, eat only bread made without yeast.” (Exodus 12:14-20 NLT)

The following passage is the new way to keep the Passover. Jesus is about to replace the animal with new symbols for His body and blood.

For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26 NLT)

I was talking about the feast of shelters.

But if some laws in Moses are not yet clear, that takes us back to which laws have been made clear to the church.

I think so far we have clean and unclean animals, the four laws in Acts 15, and tithing.

Were any other laws made clear in the new testament?

1 Corinthians 2
We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing.

Brother, happy Sabbath, which starts this Friday December 30, 2022 at 9:44 am EST! The church believes it is clear that all the feasts were replaced with Jesus' new feast. What I am saying is that this is not clear to me as it is clear to the church and I do not automatically assume the church is right in it's tradition of doing away with all the festivals in Judaism. This, however, may take more effort than I have been able to put in at this time. It seems they are confident in their understanding of what our prophetess wrote, but I know they have misunderstood her inspiration in other passages and could have misunderstood her inspiration in this passage as well.

I think so far we have clean and unclean animals, the four laws in Acts 15, and tithing. Were any other laws made clear in the new testament?
All the laws were assumed to be clear to the Gentiles who were turning to God as they listened to Moses every Sabbath. The fact that I have provided evidence of two more not found in the James list shows that the James list is an initial seed to be added to as we listened to Moses and not a reduction of Moses for Gentiles turning to God.

James thought God would use the Gentiles who were turning to God to "restore the fallen house of David", if they got out of the way by not forcing us to adopt Moses through Judaism with its human rules, which Jesus was against.

Is it only clear when it is read in a synagogue?

Brother, happy Sabbath, starting this Friday, January 6, 2023 at 9:49 am EST! It is not clear to me, because I see a different possibility of how to understand God's message than the tradition of my church. They may have valid reasons for having their understanding, but I do not see it as they have so far. To me, what our prophetess said does not eliminate the festivals, nor do I find that in the Bible. To me, what our prophetess said allows for a change in all the festivals. The difference being that no longer is the meat and blood of animals used after Jesus, eliminating animal sacrifices, and the body and blood of Jesus symbolized in the bread and wine is to replace animal sacrifices in all the festivals.

The reason I lean towards my view is because God said that Passover is "for all time" and therefore cannot be taken away, as the church has interpreted her writing above. What I think fits the whole message is that the animal sacrifices are replaced with the new symbols of Jesus for his body and blood.

“This is a day to remember. Each year, from generation to generation, you must celebrate it as a special festival to the LORD. This is a law for all time. For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast. On the first day of the festival, remove every trace of yeast from your homes.

Brother, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you.

There is only one Church.

For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.

I believe we already talked about the entire church keeping the same laws.

With that in mind, have laws about the feasts been made clear to the church?

Also united in one body!
