Brother, God would help restore the house of David through the Prophets. Paul was a prophet telling us what God would "show" Him "in the future"!

Now get to your feet! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. Tell people that you have seen me, and tell them what I will show you in the future. (Acts 26:16 NLT)

The disciples were prophets telling us what they have heard and seen living with Jesus.

Moses continued, “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. For this is what you yourselves requested of the LORD your God when you were assembled at Mount Sinai. You said, ‘Don’t let us hear the voice of the LORD our God anymore or see this blazing fire, for we will die.’ “Then the LORD said to me, ‘What they have said is right. I will raise up a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him. I will personally deal with anyone who will not listen to the messages the prophet proclaims on my behalf. But any prophet who falsely claims to speak in my name or who speaks in the name of another god must die.’ “But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the LORD?’ If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared. (Deuteronomy 18:15-22 NLT)

Brother, may you rejoice in the Lord today and always!

So... It sounds like there would be a system of prophets after Acts 15. Who was the next prophet after the apostles died out?

Brother, the following passage is evidence that Ellen G. White was a prophet who had the same inspiration as the Bible from the beginning, unknown to humans until today. God used humans to deliver this message to the future, guaranteed, like David's letter sent through Uriah, was guaranteed unaltered for him to die. The fact that it did not favor Uriah showed that Uriah did not alter the message that led to his death. Her inspiration is the same as Paul's correction of the Sabbath in the letter to the Hebrews about another "day" of rest without her or the church understanding the message for the future. My church has not changed "when it is" that evening falls, having adapted the wrong tradition of Judaism since Joshua, expressed by God through Paul. I know evening falls in the middle of the first day and not at the beginning as Judaism supposed, due to the Sabbath in Jerusalem, which falls half a day before the seventh day of the week in Jerusalem.

I saw that it is even so: “From even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.” Said the angel: “Take the word of God, read it, understand, and ye cannot err. Read carefully, and ye shall there find what even is, and when it is.” I asked the angel if the frown of God had been upon His people for commencing the Sabbath as they had. I was directed back to the first rise of the Sabbath, and followed the people of God up to this time, but did not see that the Lord was displeased, or frowned upon them. I inquired why it had been thus, that at this late day we must change the time of commencing the Sabbath. Said the angel: “Ye shall understand, but not yet, not yet.” Said the angel: “If light come, and that light is set aside or rejected, then comes condemnation and the frown of God; but before the light comes, there is no sin, for there is no light for them to reject.” I saw that it was in the minds of some that the Lord had shown that the Sabbath commenced at six o'clock, when I had only seen that it commenced at “even,” and it was inferred that even was at six. I saw that the servants of God must draw together, press together. (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, Page 116)

Brother, the reason she was called is to unify those that believed the message of the prophesy of the 2300 years. William Miller calculated and was convinced that the second coming of Jesus would take place during his lifetime. For William Miller, the next great event in the Bible was the return of Jesus, when the necessary heavenly judgement was skipped before Jesus returns for the saved of the house of God, those who participate in the first resurrection. Many people from many denominations believed William Miller and turned to God for answers after the great disappointment. God helped them understand that instead of the return of Jesus, in 1844, the judgment began in heaven corresponding to the Day of Atonement that began in the previous recounting of events in order with respect to where the prophecy of the 2300 years is located.

Then I heard two holy ones talking to each other. One of them asked, “How long will the events of this vision last? How long will the rebellion that causes desecration stop the daily sacrifices? How long will the Temple and heaven’s army be trampled on?” The other replied, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the Temple will be made right again.” (Daniel 8:13-14 NLT)

The temple "made right again" above at the end of the 2300-year prophesy corresponds to the following beginning of Judgment in the prior retelling of events in order. It is the beginning of the heavenly Judgment that corresponds to the Day of Atonement.

I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire, and a river of fire was pouring out, flowing from his presence. Millions of angels ministered to him; many millions stood to attend him. Then the court began its session, and the books were opened. (Daniel 7:9-10 NLT)

This is what William Miller skipped over in God's plan when he calculated the end of the 2300-year prophesy within his lifetime. Skipping the heavenly Judgment in God's plan, William Miller thought the only thing left was the return of Jesus at the end of the 2300 year prophesy, but what takes place at the end of the 2300 year prophesy is the beginning of the heavenly judgment corresponding to the Day of Atonement.

And I saw another angel flying through the sky, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. “Fear God,” he shouted. “Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.” (Revelation 14:6-7 NLT)

Okay, so... no prophets between the apostles and White. The apostles freed four laws from human tradition for the new gentile converts. Were any other laws free from human tradition until White?

Brother, the writings of Moses have been freed from Jewish tradition for 2000 years because we have not grown up in the tradition of Judaism. We will not say to our parents "Sorry, I can't help you. For I have vowed to give to God what I would have given to you" because that is not part of our tradition as it was for Judaism. When we read Moses, the word of God is not colored by the Jewish tradition as it was for James and others early in following Jesus.

Then he said, “You skillfully sidestep God’s law in order to hold on to your own tradition. For instance, Moses gave you this law from God: ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say it is all right for people to say to their parents, ‘Sorry, I can’t help you. For I have vowed to give to God what I would have given to you.’ In this way, you let them disregard their needy parents. And so you cancel the word of God in order to hand down your own tradition. And this is only one example among many others.” (Mark 7:9-13 NLT)

I don't understand. We don't need to have the laws freed from human tradition because we haven't grown up in the tradition of Judaism. But the gentiles who were just coming to Christ in the time of James also would not have grown up in the tradition of Judaism. But I thought you were saying that's what they were doing in Acts 15, freeing the law from human tradition.

Brother, happy Sabbath, which started this Friday November 25, 2022 at 9:35 am EST! James and others were willing to let Gentiles turning to God have an independent understanding of Moses, without the influence of the tradition of Judaism that colored God's word in ways God was against. James and others were too close to Judaism to distinguish the word of God from the influence of their tradition on the word of God without God's help through the absence of the traditions of Judaism by new believers. The new believers would serve as a "sanity check" on their traditions. We were given the task of understanding Moses independent of the traditions of Judaism.

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either. “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are! “Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! For you say that it means nothing to swear ‘by God’s Temple,’ but that it is binding to swear ‘by the gold in the Temple.’ Blind fools! Which is more important—the gold or the Temple that makes the gold sacred? And you say that to swear ‘by the altar’ is not binding, but to swear ‘by the gifts on the altar’ is binding. How blind! For which is more important—the gift on the altar or the altar that makes the gift sacred? When you swear ‘by the altar,’ you are swearing by it and by everything on it. And when you swear ‘by the Temple,’ you are swearing by it and by God, who lives in it. And when you swear ‘by heaven,’ you are swearing by the throne of God and by God, who sits on the throne. freeing the law from human tradition.
Brother, you mentioned that thinking of the need for the Biblical Date Line was complicated and I think I have simplified it to a picture. The following picture shows the day cycle that God embedded in the tradition of Judaism during the 40 years in the desert with Manna without their current awareness. If we were to pause the spinning of the Earth to obtain the day of the week from the United States and Korea on a Friday morning in Jerusalem, we get a morning start for the day of the week in Jerusalem and not an evening start. Does the picture simplify the topic? I knew that God during the 40 years in the desert embedded the proper day cycle in the tradition of Judaism with Manna before Joshua shifted their point of view of the day of the week because of the Sabbath in Jerusalem. Once the Jews were spread throughout the globe, God's embedded cycle can be seen throughout the globe that the days begin in the morning and not in the evening as they had supposed due to the Sabbath in Jerusalem.

Brother, may the Lord bless you and keep you every day!

I still don't understand what you're saying. So the new gentile converts have to keep all of the laws that the rest of the church is keeping, but they understand those laws in a way that is freed from human tradition? But how is that different from the Jews who were in the church and the gentiles who had become mature christians, since there is only one church? The Jews also would not have had to keep the laws in a way that was bound to human tradition.

Ephesians 4
There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling, 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Brother, after 2000 years, we are still helping to rescue the Sabbath from the human tradition of Judaism as expressed by God through Paul in the following passage. We Gentiles who are turning to God with more help after Jesus than they did before Jesus can help James and others too close to Judaism to understand Moses independent from the tradition of Judaism. History will show that we have been helpful to Jews in understanding Moses, as James supposed was God's plan as written: "Afterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David".

So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. (Hebrews 4:6-11 NLT)

Brothers and sisters, happy Sabbath that begins this Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:34 am EDT! Here is the passage that gives us an Eleventh Commandment with the phrase "one thing" that you have not done, after answering the question with: you know "the commandments". Jesus' answer makes the "one thing" you haven't done an additional commandment. Consistent with us knowing the additional commandment in the new covenant of following Jesus' example.

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother.’” The man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” When Jesus heard his answer, he said, “There is still one thing you haven’t done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Luke 18:18-22 NLT)

The new Eleventh Commandment was not possible before Jesus, as we could not have "followed" the example of Jesus' life before His arrival, allowing us to "surpass" the glory of the previous Ten Commandments by Jesus' example, as superior to commandments given without an exemplary life to follow. Judaism sabotaged God's commandments by adding their own laws in a "human effort", as in the story of Hagar, to fulfill God's promise of separating sin from our character thanks to the cycle of forgiveness of our High Priest in the temple in heaven.

He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant (Eleven Commandments). This is a covenant not of written laws (Ten Commandments), but of the Spirit (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus). The old written covenant ends in death (sabotaged by human effort as in the story of Hagar); but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus). The old way, with laws etched in stone (Ten Commandments), led to death (sabotaged by human effort as in the story of Hagar), though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way (Eleven Commandments), now that the Holy Spirit is giving life (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus)? If the old way (Ten Commandments), which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way (Eleven Commandments), which makes us right with God! In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way (Eleven Commandments). So if the old way (Ten Commandments), which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new (Eleven Commandments), which remains forever! (2 Corinthians 3:6-11 NLT)

United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge
The answer to your poll is neither.

Mathew 22
The Most Important Commandment

34But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply, they met together to question him again. 35One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: 36“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

37Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’* 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’* 40The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

Mathew 22 The Most Important Commandment 34But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply, they met together to question him again. 35One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: 36“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’* 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’* 40The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
Brother, God does not assume we know how to love! What you have expressed with the two greatest commandments is the goal of the commandments and not how to get there, expanding what it means to love with the actual Ten Commandments before Jesus. After Jesus, we no longer have an outline of the Ten Commandments but a fully fleshed out total of Eleven Commandments expressed through the exemplary life of Jesus to "follow". Jesus tells us in the following passage that there is only one more new Eleventh Commandment to add to the previous Ten Commandments, not possible before Jesus, which is to "follow" His example when He says: "there is still one thing you haven't done".

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments (entolé): ‘You must not commit adultery.

The new Eleventh Commandment above is found in the following passage, where to do "just as I have" is to "follow" His example by keeping a total of Eleven Commandments when Jesus adds one more to the previous Ten Commandments, saying above: "there is still one thing you haven't done".

As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, “The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory, and God will be glorified because of him. And since God receives glory because of the Son, he will give his own glory to the Son, and he will do so at once. Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going. So now I am giving you a new commandment (entolé): Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:31-35 NLT)

I believe we know how to love God and others fully when we're baptised by water and by the Holy Spirit.

1 John 4

7Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

9God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Being led by the Holy Spirit is how we follow Jesus, it is not in our own strength.
This is  not an "eleventh" commandment.

What does it mean to be born of the Spirit?

The Bible uses several metaphors involving birth to help explain what it means to have a saving relationship with Jesus. We find terms such as born again (John 3:3), born of God (John 1:13), and born of the Spirit (John 3:6). They all mean the same thing. Birth metaphors are used because we all understand physical birth. When a baby is born, a new person emerges into the world. The new life will grow, and the young person will come to resemble his or her parents. When we are born of the Spirit, a “new person” arrives with a new spiritual life. And as we grow, we come to resemble our Father in heaven (Romans 8:29).

People try to know God through a variety of means: some try religion or following an ethical code; some turn to intellect or logic; others try to find God in nature; and others through emotional experiences, believing that God inhabits whatever feelings they can muster when they think about Him. None of those bring us one step closer to actually communing with the God of the Bible because He cannot be known through our moral codes, our minds, our environment, or our emotions. He is Spirit, and those who would worship must worship “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24).

Brother, may the Lord bless you and keep you every day!

Okay, so everyone is keeping the same laws. New gentile converts, and people who grew up Jewish and are now Christian, everyone is keeping the same laws in Acts 15. But of course, our understanding of how to keep them will hopefully grow over the centuries.

So what does James mean when he says:
Therefore my judgment is that we don’t trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to God, 20 but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.

What does he mean about not troubling them? Do you mean he doesn't want them to be following human traditions?

Being led by the Holy Spirit is how we follow Jesus, it is not in our own strength.
Brother, without Jesus' many forgivenesses allowing growth through practice, we could not escape our "slavery to sin"! We are led by the Holy Spirit through the guaranteed word of God through the prophets. We should not follow a spirit that twists Paul's message to excuse continual sin against God's law. We grow through the practice, which Paul calls "slavery", when we "choose to obey" God in order to "become slaves to righteous living", thanks to Jesus' many forgivenesses making us "pure, just as he is pure".

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is. (1 John 3:1-6 NLT)

How long we remain "pure, just as He is pure" takes practice as we "become slaves to righteous living" by choosing to "obey God" over our old ways. What makes this growth through practice possible is the many forgivenesses of our High Priest Jesus, accomplishing what the law does not permit, growth through practice, like a child who learns to walk by getting up again and again until he no longer falls.

Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living. (Romans 6:15-18 NLT)

Brother, yes! James does not want the Gentiles who are turning to God troubled with what Jesus explains in the following passage about the human tradition of Judaism.

Brother, may the Lord bless you and keep you every day!

Well... How does that fit with this?
Brother, the writings of Moses have been freed from Jewish tradition for 2000 years because we have not grown up in the tradition of Judaism.
The gentiles turning to God in Acts 15 wouldn't have grown up in the tradition of Judaism, either.

Brother, the Gentiles turning to God would have obeyed the writings of Moses independently from the tradition of Judaism. Moses was not forced on them through Judaism, they were to follow Moses on their own as they listened to Moses read every Sabbath.

When they had finished, James stood and said, “Brothers, listen to me. Peter has told you about the time God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people for himself. And this conversion of Gentiles is exactly what the prophets predicted. As it is written: ‘Afterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David. I will rebuild its ruins and restore it, so that the rest of humanity might seek the LORD, including the Gentiles—all those I have called to be mine. The LORD has spoken—he who made these things known so long ago.’ “And so my judgment is that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood. For these laws of Moses has been preached in Jewish synagogues in every city on every Sabbath for many generations.” (Acts 15:13-21 NLT fixed)
