Did Jesus ever have to go to the restroom?

Did Jesus ever have to use the restroom

  • No. He held it in for 33 years.

  • Yes. All humans use the restroom, and Jesus was fully human and fully Divine.

  • We can't tell for sure.

Sitting here reading and posting to this drival... wondering when all of us at this tread are going to get a life...Couldn't we find something less important than the bodily functions of Jesus...like did He have to cut His finger and toe nails??? Or how often did He trim His beard...of course since He was man fully then His body worked as it was designed..what went in came out..
Yes I agree...
Of course he went to the toilet,in those days maybe even out doors in the woods.
No toilet paper either may have used leaves or sears catalogue....^_^

Yes, but it was Holy Pee.

Actually, I can provide scriptural evidence- Levitical law provides rules for relieving onself (Deuteronomy 23:13), and Jesus respected the law, so presumably he followed its dictates in this regard. It's for when camping, technically, but I presume the disciples had to camp from time to time.

The Gospels mention nothing about Jesus ever having to relieve Himself.

The extra-canonical writings mention nothing about Jesus ever having to relieve Himself.

Since nothing is mentioned about this in Scripture, is it safe to assume that Jesus never had to use the restroom.

Discuss among yourselves...
Thanks, Uber. No matter how long I'm away, you always tickle my fancy when I return.

You are 51 years old, start acting like one .
Why would the Gospels mention this ?
Is it that important to become a christian and follow the Lord ?
I dont find it funny or interresting .

First: I hope I never act like I'm 51. I may be 51 chronologically, but I'm still a teenager at heart and I hope I'm still a teenager at heart when I'm 90!

Second: the Bible says nothing about Jesus ever using the bathroom. Everything we know about Jesus comes from the Bible. The Bible is absolutely inerrant and infallable. If the Bible says nothing about Jesus going to the bathroom in the 33 years while He was alive, the only thing we can logically conclude is that He never used the bathroom.

Please tell me, as well as I'm 53 on Thursday!

Also is this why Jesus got up very early to pray in the wee small hours?!

Maybe there was a typo in the Textus Receptus.

The word "pray" actually had an "s" before the beginning of the word.

Well, I can't speak for all people over 50, and I know I can't speak for Fares or MikeJ (;)) — but this 51 year old likes to chase severe thunderstorms and tornadoes, jump out of planes (with a parachute, of course!), and drive very, very fast.

My record from Austin to El Paso is 6 hours, 45 minutes. The distance is 602 miles. You do the math...

(I also drove from Lexington, KY to Fulton, KY in 2 hours, 20 minutes. The distance is 260 miles. Fortunately, the turnpike system in Kentucky is largely unpatrolled.)
