Did Jesus ever have to go to the restroom?

Did Jesus ever have to use the restroom

  • No. He held it in for 33 years.

  • Yes. All humans use the restroom, and Jesus was fully human and fully Divine.

  • We can't tell for sure.

Well if He never drank coffee, then that puts the idea that Jesus had children to bed!

somewhere there must be, preserved, one of jesus' nappies (diapers) from when he was a baby, or whatever they used in those days.

perhaps it is in a cave somewhere waiting to be discovered, sort of like the holy grail - for non-literalists.

Well, we know that there was coffee in the Bible, and the men made it! Because they were He Brews!

This is a funny topic. Of course he had to relieve himself. Not EVERYTHING that happened to him was recorded. Who wants to write anything about someone going to the bathroom?

i'd rather read about Jesus going to the bathroom, then reading about how the Jews believed it was the Will of God for them to go in a city, demolish it, kill everyone by the virgins and take them virgins.

but i guess it depends on what a person likes reading...and no i'm not a fecal-maniac.

The Gospels mention nothing about Jesus ever having to relieve Himself.

The extra-canonical writings mention nothing about Jesus ever having to relieve Himself.

Since nothing is mentioned about this in Scripture, is it safe to assume that Jesus never had to use the restroom.

Discuss among yourselves...

Why would the Gospels mention this ?
Is it that important to become a christian and follow the Lord ?
I dont find it funny or interresting .

the point isn't really to debate about Jesus taking a pee. but it isn't mentioned in the Bible, so why should we believe it? the point at least to me, is talking more along the lines of those who think it has to be mentioned in the Bible to believe something. if you don't find it funny or interesting, then don't post here. it's not that complicated. i'm not meaning to be mean Fares.

Sitting here reading and posting to this drival... wondering when all of us at this tread are going to get a life...Couldn't we find something less important than the bodily functions of Jesus...like did He have to cut His finger and toe nails??? Or how often did He trim His beard...of course since He was man fully then His body worked as it was designed..what went in came out..

are bodily functions that bad? what's so bad about it? we need to do it to survive. i'm blessed to go the bathroom cause i'm alive, so i don't understand what is so "bad" about using something Jesus had to do to survive, to make a point in regards to another topic.

So, we have a laugh. What is so wrong with that? LIGHTEN UP! Life is terminal so we might as well have some fun while we are here. God does have a sense of humor! God made paltypusi (and fundimentalists!). So just bop yourself on the forehead and say, "Boy, I am glad I am not that shallow!"

I'm reminded of a quote:
Henry Ward Beecher said:
“A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.”
Don't like it? Why tell us? :)

I just had a thought. The human body is mostly water.

Jesus could turn water to wine.
Hmm... well one thing is for sure, I won't look at wine the same way ever again!

This thread also makes me wonder about the origin of the 'pee-pee dance'; I am lead to believe it was Jesus.
