The Binary code is based on 0 & 1. This is what computers run on. This is the same as DNA where you have OFF and ON switches. The very first letter in the very first word (beginning) in the Hebrew Bible is B or Beta and this letter has a value of 2. So we need to look at Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago to see what makes them different then all of the "Apes" before them. We know that they had the breath of life.

I was trying to show you that the only evidence is found in the Bible, which you seem to discount. What the best and only evidence shows is that your interpretation of Genesis is totally false. My interpretation agrees Scripturally scientifically and historically, thus refuting your truth as nothing but a half truth.

Amen. Where do you suppose they got their "breath of life"? Was it from the same God who gave us His? Adam was alive more than 13.8 Billion years ago and Eve some 12,000 years ago. They lived in perfect bodies, like we will have in Heaven, and didn't know death because they lived in the Eternal present/God's Rest/The Great Sabbath, until sin/death was found in them. Amen?

I... never suggested that it was related to a raccoon. My point was that animals that share a family level categorization can be noticeably different enough that some people may question them sharing a category, and then comparing that to the Superfamily that humans are in with orangutans, chimpanzees, etc., and noting that Superfamilies are more generalized categories than families are.

I could have compared fennec foxes to poodles, I guess, since they also look very different from each other and live in entirely different ecosystems. I just felt like using the raccoon dog on a whim.

My brother in law was raised in Barbados. He said he never wore clothes as a small child . He’d run down to the beach ( which was as far away as the width of a NYC two way street ) and jump in. In a lot of places, preadolescent kids are nude and women go topless . That body shaming nonsense we have a tendency to call modesty is long past it’s use by date.

My wife is from the Philippines so that is the only country I know about. They wear clothing there for modesty. Otherwise the clothing they wear is very thin so they do not get hot.

I am not in any way concerned about interpretations of Genesis unless there is some evidence that the major claims made by The Bible, e.g. that there is a God, are true. Without any God, then The Bible is just a collection of stone-age myths with no reason to take them as an authority over modern science.
