I think it was Hal Lindsey who pointed out that, according to verse 15, people will go out and put markers next to bones, and then a burial crew will come along along and bury them -- since they are radioactive.

Please do not loose any sleep. You have worked it out for yourself. Of course Adam and Eve were not created with belly buttons as they were not born. That would only look weird to you because you are used to seeing them there.

In the coalecsence and animation of the first creations there would be no resulting navel required. The same goes for all the initial creation of placental mammals. God as a deity knows much more about physics and chemistry than mankind does, so the use of a science we have yet to comprehend is to be expected. Given science has shown life is nothing more than atoms rearranged just so the notion of a super powerful and all knowing God using this knowledge in his creation is not so grandious. This is the creationists abiogenesis and is as theoretical at the present as is the evolutionary abiogenesis.

The better question is when, where, how and why do evolutionists think the first navel came about in placental mammals when a supposed mammal like reptile decided egg laying was no longer the way to go. Do you suppose an umbilical cord evolved first and attached to an egg?

Many suggest God cannot create 'it' but evolution can. I do not believe evolution is smarter than God.

By the way, Seacrest; just perusing this OP again, and I noticed a little something.

Adam wasn't 'whipped up by God in the Garden' -- he was 'whipped up' elsewhere, then placed in the Garden.

China already brags about having reduced the population by 600 million through "family planning". So with a population of maybe 7 billion all in all they have been able to reduce that by 1 billion. This shows me that scientists were harping about overpopulation back in the 19th century.

18 years marks the 2000 year anniversary of the Christian Church. Although I have heard that some people believe the church began when Jesus was born in 4 bc. That would have been the year 1996. I go by the first pentecost in the year 20ad. I go by the Friday April 13, 2029 date that we get from NASA. Also the Sunday April 13 2036 with the 1 in 45000 using standard dynamical models. So with odds of 1 in 45000 perhaps your justified in being a polyanna. One way or the other you will hear a lot more about this as the day comes near so you can say you heard it first here.

But one thing is for sure, someone somewhere is going to have a disaster between now and then and it would be a very good idea for them to "get a grip" and prepare themselves. New Orleans needed to be prepared. On 911 NY needed to be prepared for their disaster. In Haiti they needed to be prepared for 1000 fires and the looting after the earthquake. Japan and Thailand needed to be prepared.

Having a little water available for a disaster is not to be compared with how we are to be ready for the day when we will be raised in a twinkling of an eye.

Perhaps you will sail on by and never have a problem. But even as a boy scout we were told to be prepared. Because in the next 18 years someone somewhere is going to deal with disaster and they need to be ready. But if you want to live in a Polyanna world, go right ahead and do just that.
