Why would Adam and Eve not have a belly button? lol. That made me smile..
Because Adam and Eve were created, not evolved.

In addition, a belly button is a scar, and there were no scars when God finished His creation.
Wikipedia said:
The navel (clinically known as the umbilicus, colloquially known as the belly button) is a scar on the abdomen caused when the umbilical cord is removed from a newborn baby. All placental mammals have a navel, and it is quite conspicuous in humans.

Forget about creation, evolution, and the flood,
lets talk about important stuff!
Did Adam and Eve have a belly button - Musta looked weird without one eh?
Of course neither had a need for one because they were both just whipped up by God in the Garden.
No actual birth took place so no belly button.
You think so? - Don't be so fast to Assume ;)

Just because God Created them, does not mean they were not Born...

Ya gotta a point there Phil

Genesis 1:31 And 'Elohiym is seeing all of which He made. And behold! exceedingly good.
And is becoming evening and is becoming morning, Day the Sixth.

If I tell you Who the Father of Adam was, and back it up with Scripture, will you do the same with Adam's mother?

Thank you, sir!

It's refreshing to see someone recognize a good point when they see one. :)

You too, sis! I haven't see you posting in a coon's age! :)
lol. Been gone, you goof..:) I took an extended leave of absence from CF..I have been thinking of coming back for awhile, and finally decided to take the plunge. I am back, back on staff, and ready to go. I am excited to be back.
One thing I have learned..and learned the hard way..unfortunately, many tears and heartache between, but here it is..
When I joined in 2007, I instantly bonded with many people, and after awhile became a member of staff. I made alot of friends, and I have never met face to face with any of them. Yet I cherish them..During the time I was here until end of 2009, I had almost let my "in real life" friendships just disappear. Or so I thought. I still tried to maintain them, yet they did not reciprocate.
When I left here, I soon discovered I had no one. And, in the past year, I've discovered that even more. When they thought I was having a heart attack in Feb of this year, not even my supposed to be best friend came to the hospital. I have found out over these 2 years just how valuable and cherishable the online friends you make are. I am praying mine are still solid, and so incredibly blessed to be back here.
There's my mushy "testimony" for the last two years..

Well, it's certainly nice to see you back!

Thanks for the wake-up call about friends not visiting friends in the hospital!

God bless!

And nice to see you back in the driver's seat!

:)

Please take no offense at my comments here. The people you place first in your thoughts will notice your attention and some of them may do the same and place you first in their thoughts.

With family this can sometimes happen very quickly. With others this may take years to develop. With online relationships, the bond can be broken within seconds with just one sentence not phrased well.

Even remote family relations are good to cultivate and much easier to consummate.

Maybe that's the answer. Since Adam and Eve were created and not born, they had no navels. They remained so as long as they were sinless. But after the Fall, they were marked with an umbilical scar, as a sign of their disobedience and mortality. Like Cain was marked as a murderer.

Hey, maybe I can be a Creationist!

Would this also apply to rocks? Would God create rocks with scars even though the rocks never went through the process that produces these scars?

You do believe in Jewish people right? You do believe in Arab people right? Do believe they had a common ancestor? Do you accept the science that tells us that a Jewish common ancestor lived 6,000 years ago in the northern part of the Fertile Crescent? Actually science confirms the Bible that they were three common ancestors in the last 6,000 years. The Hebrews are the most recent. All the other common ancestors go back 18,000 or more years.

Science can't date mummies. That's with the entire preserved body to work with. Why would I trust any of your numbers?

Not exactly. But Jesus did bring people back from the dead, suggesting to any logical person that they were never dead at all. So God seems to over-rule human logic. Which is natural.
