Let's see. God supposedly made man in his image. Since we all have belly buttons, God must have one too so he would have made Adam and Eve with belly buttons as well. Unless of course parts of the Bible are not meant to be taken literally.

If we read that:
John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

then

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

probably doesn't literally mean that God has a belly.

If you find some connection, I'll bite.
A connection between the Iran Oil Company and the so called BP Oil Company? I would suggest you leave it alone because when I was doing some research on it I got a virus that shut down my computer.

"The Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) was founded in 1908 following the discovery of a large oil field in Masjed Soleiman, Iran. It was the first company to extract petroleum from the Middle East. In 1935 APOC was renamed the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) and in 1954 it became the British Petroleum Company (BP), one of the antecedents of the modern BP" Anglo-Persian Oil Company - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Forget about creation, evolution, and the flood, lets talk about important stuff! Did Adam and Eve have a belly button (umbilicus for you scientific types)? Musta looked weird without one ehh? Of course neither had a need for one because they were both just whipped up by God in the Garden. No actual birth took place so no belly button. I will go to sleep tonight pondering this great mystery. Seacrest out.

This is a stupid question. You say never mind about evolution but over look the point that some Christians like moderate and liberal Catholics accept evolution. So of course Adam and Eve had belly buttons, they were not the first humans, they were the first chosen by God to develope a higher level of consciousness. Science and religion are not always at odds and it doesn't have to be one or the other.

Yes that would mean Adam & Eve would have no mutations. He believes that God created Adam and Eve in perfection.

Adam and Eve were likely genetically perfect....at first. They had no children, work was easy, Adam walked alongside God, temperatures were moderate, everything they needed was at hand. At first. Even after Sin entered the world, they lived very long lives.

The reference is to the things that make us different from all the other animals.

Save your breath, many will never understand the scriptures. They take things out of context or take things literally when it is a figure of speech and visa versa. I wonder if they also believe wolves can dress in sheeps clothing? :)

I'll clear it up for you. There are few "figures of speech" in the scriptures unless clearly indicated that is the intent. And many many times, the two are layered on top of each other. Literal intent as well as allegory.

The scriptures are clear they were the first humans. The Bible spends a LOT of time and words being clear about ancestry & genealogy. Your claim that they dropped the ball and suddenly genealogy is only important after they gained "higher consciousness" has little merit.

There is a religious group for nearly every random thought man has had. Liberals love random thoughts.

They were real people. Just like Noah, Moses, Abraham were real people. We have evidence in the J Haplotype DNA & MtDNA.

It's important that skeptics will reach the same conclusion and can recreate the data.

...

lol.

I don't think AV's belly-buttonless Adam and Eve fit into your diagram. He's not talking about real people. His diagram would have a cloud with "then a miracle occurs" written in it.

Yes, I know.

I hope you are aware that the cartoon you posted is mocking characters like yourself. Is that why that thread was closed?

If that were true, you would never post here, dad.

Please stop blathering about past and present "states" until you can provide us with just ONE example where actual scientists are wrong about some measurement of a different state object, and you have a more accurate measurement to offer us. Anything... age, distance, whatever. Just ONE, dad. If not, I will continue to take whatever you post with a "grain of salt," as my buddy AVET likes to say. One would think with the divine and infallible wisdom of God as your tool kit, that you could do this easily.

100% Split merge nonsense.
One cannot measure what is no longer here or has not yet come to be with the intruments of present science.

As for your opinion about what state and laws existed, stow it. No one cares. Just report on what you know.

Those of us in the real world care, dad. Science is useful in the real world... and, as you continue to demonstrate here, your Split/Merge nonsense Dadology is NOT.

What is changing is that more and more Science shows us that the Bible is true. If you trust in Science then you are without excuse for not accepting the truth in the Bible that Science verifies. Yet you turn your back on science when science tries to show you that the Bible is true.
The only way the Bible and science can align is when you twist the meaning of the Bible. A literal reading of the Bible does not illuminate one scientifically.

Just like Noah knew that the flood was coming, we know that the tribulation and a nuclear cleansing is coming. The question is will you be taken by surprise or will you be prepared and ready? Japan was taken by surprise, even though they were prepared and ready. Haiti with it's thousand fires was taken by surprise. Will you be ready? Will you be prepared?
For what? When will this happen? From where? What kind of "tribulation" and "nuclear cleansing" are you talking about? Who will do this? Why? How?
