Depressed

I'm feeling very depressed.Things are going bad in family right now.Plus I'm still grieving my grandma's passing .It's like I've lost everything in the last eight months.My grandma gets sick, i lose my job, she goes back in the hospital , comes home, barely is home a week and passes.Not to mention all the stress from my uncle.Lord is there ever going to be relief?When will my joy be restored?

If she knew lord then she is now resting don't be sad she is not dead she is actually free now form her corrupted old body and trust me it's pain to be alive when you are old every step you make can hurt my grandma had 95 years and i'm glad she no longer feel pain .

My condolences for your loss and the trouble you are presently going through. In the valleys is where we need to keep our eyes on Jesus. I know it rough at first, but once it’s learned valleys and mountains become all the same.

“in all things I have learned to be content, I know how to be poor and I know how to abound.”

But it’s the learning of this truth that is painful. For we all die daily, and dying to self is painful. But the fruit of righteousness grows on this tree. Praying that your eyes will be fixed on Christ as you go though these trying time. Knowning that this to will pass.

I am sorry for You. It is not easy when a beloved grandmother goes home with the Lord. Well now I suppose She was a christian. At least You seem to miss her very much, I also missed my grandmother much when She passed away. I hope to see her again. I made a floral funeral decoration as a practice but thought it is for someone that need some joy in their life. And although we give flowers to the persons that have gone on it is we that enjoy their beautiful colours too for a while. I pray that You also find a job that You enjoy or studies that lead to a job. Cheers.

Father, may this one see so clearly by his spirit, the brightness of the glory You are (Hebrews 1:3), that at least for a moment all the grief he is focusing on will disappear from sight like the stars when the Sun is risen. May he spiritually "walk on water" so to speak, with his eyes focused spiritually on the face of Jesus, rather than those troubling waves and wind. May he experience the power of focusing on You instead of the things that are troubling him. May he, like Moses in Hebrews 11:27, may he endure these griefs as seeing You who are invisible.

Keep feeding on God's Word, trustingly. The four chapters of Philippians are good in focusing on the Lord Jesus and joy amidst suffering.
