Minor quibble…it’s not “the exact same thing”, the other “unelected bureaucrats‘“ positions are well defined by whatever law mandates their existence; Musk’s legitimacy relies on an Executive order that might not survive a test in court.

Yes, we get that Trump's failures aren't making his supporters feel better. Hence the need for threads like this which try and distract from them by, for example, making up wild fantasies about what might have happened had Harris won. It's pretty telling there's a need for that rather than talking about Trump successfully bringing down grocery prices on day 1 as he promised.
I have to wonder....if, in that alternate reality you posited earlier where Harris won the election, had inflation risen just a little bit as it did here in our reality, would the conservative media be saying things like, "it's only been three weeks, things have to get worse before they can get better. Give President Harris a break!"?
