It might be more meaningful to this conversation if you told us where you get your news.If you don't mind my asking, where do you get your news?
The House, yes, but not the Senate. We keep saying this - why don't you hear it?Then articles of impeachment should be real easy for the House.
As the leader of the House Democrats, she does not think a suicide move is the right thing to do. Also, it is premature as there are still investigations ongoing. That’s a cop out on her part. Should she not go forward with what she thinks is the right thing to do? The GOP House impeached President Clinton knowing the Senate bar was high. As it should be.
The Mueller investigation was limited to Russian interference with the 2016 election. Donald's possible corruption is much wider in scope.More investigation? The Mueller report was not thorough enough?
Why would it be "more" meaningful? It might be more meaningful to this conversation if you told us where you get your news.
If you don't mind my asking ...
Because that individual asked the question. It fosters open, honest discussion. Call it quid pro quo.Why would it be "more" meaningful?
Yet I keep hearing here that further investigation is necessary. The House, yes, but not the Senate. We keep saying this - why don't you hear it?
So we need to keep looking for something. The Mueller investigation was limited to Russian interference with the 2016 election. Donald's possible corruption is much wider in scope.
Did money go through a whirlpool or something?I believe Pelosi, Nadler and Schiff would like to examine if there are financial ties between Russia and Trump. Mueller didn't really delve deeply into that as far as I know.
I get my news from mostly three sources, the newspaper and MSNBC, CNN. But I myself wasn't asking because it means anything as per this conversation. I study semantics. It might be more meaningful to this conversation if you told us where you get your news.
If you don't mind my asking ...
It definitely makes a difference for many people.Thanks. That certainly helps explain your perspective.
I can see it being "as meaningful", but not "more". I see that one person answered the question, while surprise! the other one hasn't.Because that individual asked the question. It fosters open, honest discussion. Call it quid pro quo.
The question wasn't addressed to me. Let's give time for both posters to respond. Sound fair?I can see it being "as meaningful", but not "more". I see that one person answered the question, while surprise! the other one hasn't.
Yes, the Mueller investigation was limited to Russian interference with the 2016 election and anything directly related.Yet I keep hearing here that further investigation is necessary.
Donald lied during the campaign when he baldly stated that he was not currently involved with Russia, even though he was actively seeking a real estate deal there at that time. Donald has not disclosed his tax returns while also not putting his business in a blind trust. Donald is leasing a property from the US government even though no government official is supposed to while foreign officials (as well as US lobbyists) stay at his property, seeking to do business with the government. Donald hosts official events at his properties which means he is profiteering. Donald has done business with Deutsche Bank, a bank known for money laundering, after American banks refused to do business with him (after six - count 'em, six! bankruptcies). So we need to keep looking for something.
Yet you demanded the poster to answer it anyway. Which he did.The question wasn't addressed to me.
How much time does it take? The one who was originally asked has made a couple of posts in this thread since the question was asked...Let's give time for both posters to respond. Sound fair?
Then the report was futile. If they were only investigating Russian hackers and trolls then the investigation could have been concluded in 6 months or fewer.
And Sessions would not have to recuse himself. So from the start the Mueller investigation was about Trump. It was a political investigation from the start.
The contacts he had with the Russian ambassador?Sessions also wouldn't have had to recuse himself had he not lied under oath about his contacts with Russia.
No. As the OP, to help facilitate good discussion, I suggested that offering a quid pro quo might elicit the desired information. I have no idea whether it will or not ... but it often does. Open honesty does that.Yet you demanded the poster to answer it anyway. Which he did.
People operate on different schedules. How much time does it take? The one who was originally asked has made a couple of posts in this thread since the question was asked...
I don't think it's ethical to investigate in service to an insinuation. But it's also not ethical to allow another country to swing an election so as to determine our country's foreign policy. So we need to keep looking for something.
Even with the DNC and HRC campaign bought Trump dossier from the Russians, the election turned out as expected. Hillary was not a very good candidate for POTUS. I think even President Obama realized this.I don't think it's ethical to investigate in service to an insinuation. But it's also not ethical to allow another country to swing an election so as to determine our country's foreign policy.
The contacts he had with the Russian ambassador?
