Time to blame the schools again?

A different institution children are exposed to is more likely at fault, but the real problem seems not to be in the upbringing of children, but in the authoritarian infestation in many adult institutions.

How do you prove the testimony against you was maliciously false when youre in prison?

And what is the disincentive against providing false testimony?

Well someone could claim your testimony is false and that would make you guilty of perjury until you could demonstrate it true.

The rabbit hole keeps going from there.

Someone already pointed out the obvious, that it's clearly more difficult to demonstrate that you didn't do something, so it's up to the legal system to demonstrate guilt beyond reasonable doubt though evidence.

Not prison but jail. Innocent people languish in jail while awaiting trial if they can't afford bail.

This can cost them their jobs, their apartments/houses, cars (behind in payments get repossessed), children. If a single parent is arrested and can't afford bail, then chances are excellent the parent will take a guilty plea just to get out and keep their life intact.

Which is a good example of the inequity of our justice system. Those that can afford bail and good lawyers get better results on average.

You basically get a better standard of justice if you have money to defend yourself.
