Research is better than guessing.

When things slow down--if ever--perhaps a mod could go through the last 30 Adventist reports (like a couple hours worth today probably) and see how many were violations. No names, just stats.


Now that a mod has made the claim I am a bit worried about the system. If people can report as many posts as they like, and most wind up in violations, that seems like a problem.

No, people cannot report as many posts as they like and expect them all to be ruled violations. Although there is no rule limiting the number of reports that people can make, there are rules that could be applied to such behavior under certain circumstances. The new system makes it easier for the mods to make decisions based on context rather than looking at only individual reports.

I haven't done any scientific research and don't plan to right now, but just off the top of my head I recall many reports from the past two days that resulted in NV rulings.

I got a pm from Woob under an alternate name. He signed it with his usual name.

So I guess from that and his now sudden absence we can conclude that he got the boot for at least a time.

Given the current rules I doubt it is permanent as he likely hasn't racked up the requisite infraction points yet.

That's a dangerous thing to say. Picking and choosing between the 28 fundamentals is one thing. Picking and choosing between parts of the Bible is another. We're supposed to be longsuffering towards those that assail us.
