Day 28, Proverbs Chapter 28

I recently had a pleasant encounter with this scripture

Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

it's quite joyous to think about rejoicing in heaven, isn't there?

I pray for wise and knowledeable leaders for the nation, may your will be done O Lord!

2 When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily.
But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability.

But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy

Wow! I just love the lion,

verse 2 is good also, quite relevant
2 When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily.
But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability.

Proverbs 28:

Ignoring the Poor and the Suffering.

God sees ALL things. When we walk past, avert our eyes, turn the channel, ignore, rendering the poor, the cast aside, the dejected and rejected, and the suffering "invisible", we bring condemnation on ourselves. Even if the suffering ones say not a word, their heart cries are heard by God, and their "heart cries" condemn us for leaving them in suffering misery, in silence, and invisible, as if they nor their suffering exists.

"He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse." ~Proverbs 28:27

If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. v.9

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. v.13

Amen. We can't try to "fool" God, and not take Him seriously and then attempt to "pray" to Him.
