3
The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.
4
Humility is the fear of the Lord;
its wages are riches and honor and life.
5
In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls,
but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.
11
One who loves a pure heart and who speaks with grace
will have the king for a friend.
12
The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge,
but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.
You're welcome.It does! What a blessing of a connection.
The Word of God is almost like a gloriously vibrant tapestry, from cover to cover, with the verses linking gloriously from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
Thank you for sharing that. i had ever noticed the connection before you mentioned it.

Amen brinny.Yes!!! As i was reading what you posted, it hit me...
THERE it is.
The VERY definition of the "fear of the Lord"
It's "humility".
Right there in verse 4:
4 Humility is the fear of the Lord;
It ties right into "wisdom" and this pivotal verse:
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." ~Proverbs 9:10
There it is, a Jeremiah 33:3 moment!!!!!
Praise God!!!!
Weeeeee haaaaaaa!!!!!
