Bananna, how's the planning coming along? Did you find a place?

I just got back from a dance symposium at the MJAA conference and Yod's song and my choreography got filmed for a Dance DVD! They really liked the song and the dance I did, I was totally embarassed though when I was trying to teach some of the steps and my mic cord kept getting tangled around my feet hehehe :Dbut was thrilled and blessed to be able to contribute to the DVD......All the dances were great and it should be out in a few months.

There is a SW Messianic Womens Worship symposium happening here in August and Dance will be a huge part of it if anyone is interested....

That's great.

We just fit the klemer to a new song Shabbat and it was so much fun. We didn't figure out what to do with a couple extra beats and just stood, but we were winging it having never heard the song before. I'll have to ask the music leader again what the name was.

We were able to do the Klezmer to the "Halleluyah-Hine Yeshua" by Johnathan Settel. We kind of were winging it by doing four and four sets instead of twos and it needs a filler step we have not figured out yet but that was a whole lot of fun.

The younger version of "Hine Ma Tov" is so cute and a good work out for me. Not sure I could even tell you all the steps it is more of a line dance.

I love it that it is not "couples" dancing. We can do the dances as a family.

We just put "klezmer" to Honor, Glory, Blessing by Steve McConnell (CD Yeshua).

I like the interchangeable dances, you can put them to many different songs and people can easily join.

Do you know Kibbutz Line Dance? That is another good interchangeable and works well for faster songs :)

DANCE NOTATION: Formation: circle or line dance - CCW - HH - level: beginner

I. R hop, L hop

II. Four walking steps to the right RLRL (on 4th step, pivot to face center of circle)

III. R steps to the right, L behind R, R steps to the side, touch L heel to the side

IV. L steps to the left, R behind L, L steps to the side, touch R heel to the side

Repeat #1 - 4 for entire dance

It is best to teach this as a circle dance to start with so everyone understands the line of direction
