Daniel 11 and the cult

In 167 bc a cult was formed in the Jewish community. They called themselves Pharisees and they claimed to be very wise. They would give thier commontary to scripture and prophecy.
They Interpreted prophecy pertaining to the end times and claimed these prophecies were fulfilled during thier lifetimes.
Now here we are thousands of years later and even though Christ clearly taught that Daniels prophecy concerning the end times had not been fulfilled, many people today who claim to belong to Christ still believe the blind Pharisees commontary concerning Daniels prophecy.
They blindly follow the Pharisees lead so that they don't even pay attention to anything in Daniel 11.

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam to and fro, and knowledge will increase."


Seeing the Pharisees claimed to have understood these thing thousands of years ago. They must have thought the time of the end was in 167 bc.
