Right, but God and the devil are in the details.
I doubt that. More like the sun eventually exploding.

Some yes, not all Mr. Biggles. Many books were written by the men of the book's name and multiple books that are not of their name. For example Solomon wrote Proverbs and Ecclésiastes and Ezra wrote Ezra and Paul wrote several letters in the New Testament.
Such as Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Job, David, Solomon, Mark, Luke, Paul, Peter, and John.
So no! They were there to witness it...(not all but most).
Ha. No, it actually will go dark, and in the near future. Your prediction is based on a belief that we should apply not only present state temporal laws to the sun always..but that you apply them right to start with to the sun.I doubt that. More like the sun eventually exploding.
You calling John a liar?None of the gospels were written by eyewitnesses...

You calling John a liar?
No. People will still be alive on earth when the sun goes out. Soon too....get saved people, avoid the frightful times ahead.Sun explodes and then the solar system goes dark, I don't see how you view this as significantly different than your view.

Well, when the sun explodes obviously there wouldn't be any survivors on earth, but prior to that point the sun will become big and red. Hard to say how they will be different for as long as life can still exist while the sun expands, but light levels will not be the same as before.
But you can see how solar eclipses might have freaked ancient people out though!
I don't care if it got published and bound in a gold leaf book last week. We had the records and knew who wrote it. No secret.No. Why would I call John a liar?
You do realize that the gospel according to John was written at least 80 years after Jesus' death, don't you?
Yes. John. Very clear. It was not written by an eyewitness.
Yes. I say it was.It was not written by "John". Of course that could have been a common name back then so it could have been written by a "John", just not the John of the Bible.
Don't you even know the history of your own book?
. Although some notable New Testament scholars affirm traditional Johannine scholarship,[7][8] the majority do not believe that John or one of the Apostles wrote it,[9][10][11][12][13][14] and trace it instead to a "Johannine community" which traced its traditions to John; the gospel itself shows signs of having been composed in three "layers", reaching its final form about 90–100 AD.[
The exploding sun is a lie, it will never happen.Well, when the sun explodes obviously there wouldn't be any survivors on earth,
Inside the fable preached by science, based on disbelief in God and pretending present state laws will always apply..yes.but prior to that point the sun will become big and red.

Nah. They were pretty smart, and has astronomy since almost the flood. But you can see how solar eclipses might have freaked ancient people out though!
The majority are wrong. Like they know squat?
The exploding sun is a lie, it will never happen.

The sun will go dark...not explode. Life will continue on earth. Probably at least for a day, or several days.
Nah. They were pretty smart, and has astronomy since almost the flood.
They were smarter than science in many ways, such as realizing there is a spiritual connection with the stars.
No, seriously dad, many ancient peoples freaked out when solar eclipses happened, thinking it was the end of the world.
How are you sure the laws of nature won't change in the next minute?
How are you sure you're not a brain in a jar?
How are you sure that gravity won't stop working and you'll go floating off into space, soon?
How are you sure a ten-foot tall orge won't pop into existence and came at you with a mace?
How are you sure the world's not really flat?
How are you sure the Sun isn't the center of the universe?
How are you sure that, when you turn on your car, the way gasoline works won't change and make it blow up?
How are you when open a door, you won't open a portal and walk into the vacuum of space?
How are you sure your body isn't inhabited by invisible, undetectable pixies?
Reality does not just change at the drop of a hat, Anya; that's a very banal point you're trying to make. If you want to say that things worked differently in the past, fine - please provide empirical and verifiable evidence, then we'll consider. Until you do, there's no more reason for me to take such a notion any more seriously than I do the idea of a preparing my house for a hobgoblin attack, because, as far as I know, neither are things that happen.
But the word god isn't a name, just like the word president isn't a name. Yahweh (YHWH) is the closest thing that the Christian god (and the Jewish god, really) has for a name. If you like, I can refer to that deity as Yahweh instead of using god, but since god isn't a name, I will not capitalize it.
One link cites a few wise men getting beheaded. May have been more involved.

The national Geographic link I saw nothing related.
As for pagans associating spirits with heavenly events, that just reflected what spirits they believed in, and a knowledge that the spiritual was somehow involved. They were right, despite being wrong about exactly what spirit was involved how.
