Game is full of hackers and that "1337" talk so I quit playing it. I found GR and Rainbow Six series of games and I haven't gone back since.

I don't like it, graphics stink and it isn't really have a realalistic feel.

I perfer Americas Army (Army Operations)

Anyways, thats just my input. Not to say the game is bad, just that it dosen't meet my expetations in a game.

America's Army is much better and Counter-Strike is filled with hackers and modders, very annoying. Also, I just got Halo PC and that is very fun if you don't go into a modded game.

Counter-Striker is getting really old now. I want to get Counter Zero though, that looks good but for now I will stick with America's Army and Halo PC.

i got halo pc, i love halo but for some reason its hugely laggy on my pc (which a very good comp) and is even laggy in single player campaign, im at a loss, but i love halo

I got into Half Life years ago, when it came out.. It's a great game, but it's been surpassed several times over now, I'm afraid.

Love CS, been playing it for about 4-5 years now. There aren't as many hackers nowadays, they used to run rampant years ago, and yes it has been surpassed by many other games but CS is still one of my all time favorite games. To be able to last and still be popular like it is just shows that it's a great game.

Yep, used to be "Unreal Tournament or nothing" when it came to Multiplayer. Then I moved to West Australia from the UK and found 2 things...

1) No UT servers in WA (ISP ones I mean)
2) EVERYONE plays CS.

So I gave it a go and got VERY depressed that, while I was undefeated on my home lan at UnrealT, not only was online playing at "another level" but Counter Strike it'self is on "another level".

Took along time to stop running in with all guns blazing only to get binked in 5 seconds.

Been playing for about 6 months now and I'm hooked. My game is up, my scores ae getting there and I simply love the team play and strategy of the game.

Now I find hackers are less of a problem as Cheating Death is getting better. (Anti cheat program that all good servers run).

Thing thatlets the game down: People are soooo rude. Im not talking about the language coz u get that anywhere but if ur a n00b, man to people let you know it. I played an excellent round once and was 2nd top score in my team. Then I made one mistake during a bomb difuse and nearly got voted off the server by my team.

Lighten up people.... IT'S A GAME!!!!

Here's a thought....

Anyone seriouse about CS KNOWS you need to wear headphones as listening for your enemy is critical....

...but the Xbox live headset only has one ear peice and I think thats only for voice right? (not got mine yet)

So how we gonna wear that AND headphones???

Hmm I can see Xbox wont replace my PC yet as platform of choice.

And am I the only person that thinks Gamespy is too commercial?

I liked it in the good old days where advertising was no where to be seen and everything was free man free!!!!!
