Yaaaawn. Sure. All the travesties that minorities perpetuated on the oppressed white people in the United States.

So you are claiming that there is nothing whatsoever that is good about western civilization and/or no positive cultural contributions at all from white people in the U.S.?

Instead of focusing on that, they focus on the extremely rare event of a black person being unlawfully killed by the police. Why? That provides the justification for tearing down the system.
Just how many black persons must die at the hands of the police for it to not be an "extremely rare event" Give us a number

If you can think of any social problem they don't blame on white people, I would be impressed.
I doubt that. More likely you would just deny everything because it doesn't fit with your anti CRT claims.

can you reference any of these claims?

Why, am I wrong? And if I am wrong, why am I wrong? I'm a big fan of civil rights and what Martin Luther King Jr. stood for, but if CRT is better in some way, then please teach why we should follow and believe in it instead.

Why not? If we can feel our biological sex to be something that it's not, why not our race or our age or anything else? How can there be racism if we can just feel like a different race and avoid any prejudices that way? How can there be ageism if we can just feel like 24 and so we are? There can't be any sexism either if we can just will ourselves to be whatever avoids it? It doesn't at all matter if we're straight or not a woman because if we think we're a lesbian then so we are! How can CRT solve racism or anything else if none of it actually exists?
except it isn't the people who are transsexual that are engaging in prejudice, its the people who chose to hate those who are different doing it.

The transsexuals that are a part of trans-radicalism are indeed engaging in prejudice. Prejudice against, contempt for, and erasure of women.

It doesn't have anything to do with "oppression". Blacks and native Americans engaged in slavery both here in the US and abroad...and early abolitionists were white. In fact we fought an entire war to end slavery.

Those are facts....should children learn them or not?

you made claims about CRT. I'm asking you to support them. Can you?

And I've mentioned numerous times that I've been trying to learn what CRT is all about and that has been what I've discovered so far, so you have the choice to either allow me to continue in my supposed ignorance or enlighten me.

was this one of bekkilyn's claims? No it wasn't. Imagine that

Who cares?

You asked me to prove CRT is in schools and I just did.

Why not acknowledge that it's in schools and then we can discuss whether or not that's good?

You mean other than CRT theorists admitting it?

VA education department boosts critical race theory despite McAuliffe claim

The Virginia Department of Education’s website features a presentation urging teachers to “embrace critical race theory,” Fox News reported.

Ziegler remains firm LCPS is 'not teaching critical race theory'

Clearly the teachers and educators are lying. Parents are rightly upset.

It's going to be quite interesting over in VA on Tuesday. I'm really curious to see if they'll manage to topple McAuliffe in the governor race considering how drastically he's dropped in the polls since all of this came to light.

I would say that if it were at a rate was close to or exceeding the number of black people killed by anyone else I would definitely be concerned and willing to consider serious problems in the entire policing system.

How many black people can be wrongly killed by police before you begin to see it as an issue of national concern?

I doubt that. More likely you would just deny everything because it doesn't fit with your anti CRT claims.

There is no social issues that CRT doesn't blame on white people. I've pointed that out in multiple threads and I've never once been corrected.

If you like racial scapegoating, just say you like racial scapegoating.

It's clear you do. You're defending it.

Many teachers in general probably aren't very qualified to teach CRT in an academic, critical fashion because it seems like in order to teach it honestly, you would need to study the original writings and why they were written, what issues they are attempting to solve if any (rather than just being a source of discussion), etc. I'm getting the impression that a large part of the CRT problem isn't whether or not its taught, but that it's not only being taught incorrectly due to the ignorance of the teachers who either don't know or misunderstand it themselves, and perhaps attempting to implement in ways that were never originally intended. Maybe it was never intended to be implemented but rather was to remain on an academic philosophical level rather than what may be all the worst parts being ignorantly indoctrinated in the schools.

Hopefully.. Still.. I suspect that if within CRT it had any hint of possibly holding minority races (no matter how small) accountable for the average socioeconomic state they find themselves in today CRT would never be widely championed by leftist folks. You're talking about the same people who will dig out tweets from 10 years ago to cancel people.

There is probably a lot of ignorance, but if CRT was actually critical about race I think it would have been vehemently pointed out by now.

Or of course I could be way off base and it's just terrible all around. I have thought about looking into its history a bit more but have been caught up in other things.

There are probably some decent nuggets within CRT that could be extracted and incorporated into something more decent than CRT. Sadly I would wager CRT is mostly garbage. Mainly apologetics for failure and simply wanting to blame white people for them. Even if there are some historical kernels of truth.

Life isn't so black and white and is apt to upset both sides of the political spectrum.

I can't enlighten you as to what you claim to have been reading. All i can do is ask you to back up your claims.

Who cares?
and this sort of sums up your posts.

You asked me to prove CRT is in schools and I just did.
No you presented Fox news quoting a twitter post from Christopher Rufo a well known anti-CRT propagandist

Why not acknowledge that it's in schools and then we can discuss whether or not that's good?
why would i acknowledge a claim from a propagandist as true?

Or as you put it "Who cares?"
