They used to be quite the phenomenon at one time.Something man made, I don't really think about them.

No intelligent life?I think ET finally went home.

They are a hoax. The perpetrators made a video showing how they did. Quite simple really. They used to be quite the phenomenon at one time.
If you are referring to the two farmers who bent the stalks down with a board, that particular revelation was big news when their story was made public, but that was early in the history of crop circles. They are a hoax. The perpetrators made a video showing how they did. Quite simple really.
That's what they said about the first crop circles. People are way smarter and more creative than most people imagine. If you are referring to the two farmers who bent the stalks down with a board, that particular revelation was big news when their story was made public, but that was early in the history of crop circles.
Since then, the crop circles have become far too complicated for that endeavor to succeed; and the study of crop circles by scientists has completely negated the explanation offered by the two men. There appears once again to be no explanation for the crop circles that cannot be made with a board and a string!
All of them? They are a hoax.

All right. Give us just a general explanation for how terribly intricate and expansive crop circles of the kind that have been produced more recently can be created 1) in a relatively short period of time 2) without any sign of a path of access or egress in the field for the people making the designs, 2) how films of the field show the circles in the process of appearing but without any workers, etc. and 3) including the explanation for how it is that the crops themselves are not just bent over but their genetic make-up is also changed in the process. That's what they said about the first crop circles. People are way smarter and more creative than most people imagine.

Sorry - yes, OB.
That's an interesting article, but it doesn't even touch on the subject of the crop circles that have defied explanation.
There was something about the devotees of crop circles who see various cultic explanations in them. And there was something in the article about OTHER superstititions.
What there was NOT was anything that explained away the crop circles which were apparently not made by hoaxers.
