Crocheters?

Just made me a pair of barefoot sandals, for no real reason except they're fun. This is the first pattern I've found that didn't use beads or elastic thread.

Are these just for wearing around the house? I mean, you can't wear them with a sandal, right?

I think they are meant to be worn at the beach or pool (or other barefoot acceptable place). The ones without beads could be worn with flipflops or other slide on sandals. I'm not sure about the beaded ones though.

Our church will be participating in a craft sale in October. I'd like to make some scarves to sell because they seem to be so popular right now. I think it's because of the 70's-ish look that crocheted scarves have.

I love to Crochet. I taught myself off the internet sometimes last year. I have made a bunch of stuff . I made myself a blanket. And I made our Jh high pastor and his wife a blanket for their baby and i made little booties. Even though i have never seen the baby wear them but it was still a nice thing for them because they are great.

Welcome! That's about all I've been doing lately. Other than trying to study for my driver's test. Anyways, I have a large pattern collection now and running out of places to look. That not necessarily a bad thing though. Lol.

Welcome, from one PAS sufferer to another! (that's Pattern Acquisition Syndrome ). I seem to always be looking for vintage doily patterns, and I have actually made a few of them.

I've never tried doilys, but that look like that's be a pain in the hands.

Actually, because of the repetitive nature within the round, once you get used to the size difference, most doilies aren't all that difficult. Just takes patience and practice.
