Okay ... just being nosey.Don't know never heard of it before.
I see, our word views are incompatible the way we see the world is from such a diffrent perspective that our philosophies can never truly mesh. That's intresting in and of it's selfI believe that, in the beginning, nature was made for man; and not man for nature.
But as a result of the Fall, God cursed nature; and now nature is doing her thing.
Thus while I believe nature is now both evil and benevolent, she is nonetheless absolutely 100% obedient to God.
You call yourself "theophobic."I see, our word views are incompatible the way we see the world is from such a diffrent perspective that our philosophies can never truly mesh.
Its actually from the old world religion section. One poster hurled that specific insult at me an atheist who spent time learning about various other religions. The idea was so funny to me I kept it.You call yourself "theophobic."
That's interesting in light of:
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Well, in a different sort of way, I'm glad you like it, as the fear of the LORD is the beginning of true wisdom. Its actually from the old world religion section. Perhaps lowering the snail population so they don’t dominate the planet?
As I said earlier in the thread, this doesn't strictly kill the snails, it generally results in their maiming.
It also seems an overly complicated approach to population control. Generally speaking the carrying capacity of an environment (e.g. availability of food resources), predation, disease, etc., serve to control populations of biological organisms.
The idea of having a specific parasite with a complicated lifecycle designed to maim snails seems an unusual inclusion in that regard.
The bible and its teachings are a good path for many people I understand and respect that. But I feel like i've learned all i can from Christianity the path I walk is my own now.Well, in a different sort of way, I'm glad you like it, as the fear of the LORD is the beginning of true wisdom.
Jesus said ...
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Theophobia has you right at the Door -- what's keeping you from taking that last step and accepting His invitation?
And God can turn that insult that guy gave you into a blessing!![]()
Take it to the politics section.I'm a big fan of the mind controlling parasites.....

I understand.I told you AV our philosophies are very different they couldn't possibly mesh.
Shoot 'em all and let Gaea sort it out ... right?Though they are busy eating the organic matter that I feed them, the magic happens upon their death with their decaying bodies. With out an abundance of microorganisms that are living and dying in the soil, the biosphere of the Earth would be a world wide desert.
believe, no, without something to counter them, organisms will reproduce beyond their carrying capacity in an environment and then the population will crash. Not really in question.Do you believe in Malthusian catastrophes?
That time draws nigh for us. Right now over 90% of all land vertebrates are either human or human livestock. That means in the very near future that we will be forced to become more and more vegetarian. The good news? Impossible burgers are not bad at all.believe, no, without something to counter them, organisms will reproduce beyond their carrying capacity in an environment and then the population will crash. Ouch, don't eat beef already, but I am a ways from enjoying a vegetarian diet. Working on it. Carbon offsets to make Impossible cost effective? LOLThat time draws nigh for us. Thank you. God brought death to the world, just as I saidFor freewill purposes.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
God always sets before us two choices: life or death; and He's very clear on which one we are to choose.
You accept, then, that God brought death, not sin. Thanks for changing your mind so readily.Choice .... God created His intelligent beings giving them choice ... He didn't make the decision for any of them ..... nor does He with anybody ..... Love requires choice .... you can't MAKE someone love another.
