I asked a technical question. You responded with a poetic riff by a scientist who has been dead for 140 years--and another mined quote from Creation.com

No, it doesn't--not if that's all the evidence you take into account.
Quote mines and cherry picking are at the heart of creationism and they will fight you tooth and nail to keep it.

Hogwash. It's used all the time to support human evolution.
And Jesus was a white guy with a beard and long hair? Do you think that this is evidence, or another version of "Hogwash" or do we need to discuss more realistic evidence?

Another common misconception that still exists is neanderthal man being some brutish half ape, half man creature. This is because of the assumptions that were added to the original discovered bones of " neanderthals". Although we know know they are almost indistinguishable from modern humans the image persists because it's what evolution science gave us.

Jesus was a middle eastern man. I'm sure he looked like one. Not sure how that affects this topic.

Well without going to far, half man or half ape is one of the remainders of the misunderstanding of those such as yourself. We are apes as were Neanderthals and Denisovans and the rest of the apes currently classified as Homo Sapiens. You are welcome to present here your evidence that we are not all of the ape clade.

You are entitled to your own opinion but not to your own facts.

Your opinion is an example of denial for common ancestry. Even if you deny common ancestry, which appears apparent, you should at least know that it means humans share a common ancestor with chimpanzees between 8 and 6 million years ago.

It's an observation about how our culture has accepted lies about evolution as facts.
But ... but can't we just accept the idea that Adam was a mutant copy error, made in the image of God? just so we can all get along?

And ... and accept the idea that a great ape redeemed us on the Cross? just for the sake of unity?

Then they'll respect us more! :)

So you don't offer it as an argument against the theory itself. OK.
It's like many things in our current culture. Tell a lie often enough and illustrate the lie with simple pics even a child can somewhat understand and most will accept your lie.

No, they won't because you still wouldn't have got it right. ;)

Well, at least it's a first step.

Later we can discuss the veracity of the Scriptures, whether or not Jesus was who He said He was, and Israel invading peaceful settlements and wiping them off the face of the Earth.

Unity takes time.

Yes, that's clearly an indictment of the popular science media--and to an extent of science teaching in the public schools (which is generally pretty bad) but what about the theory of evolution itself? Once again I have to say--and I hope I don't insult you again--I'm not really sure what you are arguing against, or for.

Once again, you are entitled to your opinion but not your own facts. The public accepts the ToE because it is a scientific fact.

Please let us know when you come up with a creationist theory that better fits the evidence and makes better predictions than the ToE.

Those who believe in the Flash, believe he made it from Boston to L.A. in a second, as he said he did.

Those who don't believe in the Flash are doomed to have to believe he walked it; and so they have to start making up things to fit their theory:

Add five months to the pot, add wear and tear on his sartorial equipment, interpret debris along his trail as belonging to him, and the list can go on and on.
