The heart is really cute!

Most of my hobbies and crafts went down the drain since I had to move twice in the last 6-8 months....long story. I am hoping, now that I am getting settled, to get back into some sort of creative outlet.

I know, right? :satisfied:

You should totally get back into crafting or doing something. And then post pictures here. :satisfied: Even -if- it turns into a pinterest fail. :p Which would honestly make it more interesting, don't you think? Lol

Speaking of which I actually found a website the other day dedicated to pinterest fails....

These are totally adorable, but I don't think I'd have the patience to make one. :p

They do seem like they would be a lot of fun to make. :) The fur alone would take a long time to apply, I'm sure.

See how a handmade Shiny Mew plush is made! Also shows an embroidery machine at work, sooo cool! I've never used one of those myself.

That’s pretty awesome and cute. It looks like so much work to make that one with all the little details. I don’t think I’ve seen an embroidery machine either.

Decided to try making custom gifts again for Christmas this year, this time working with plaster. The last time I used plaster was a few years back for one of my architecture classes.

Even though I had some prior experience with the material, it still took some getting used to. I ended up making a couple manger scenes and a work bench, and added figurines I had bought few years back which I never used. The molds for the plaster were made out of foam core board. I'm happy with how everything turned out, and the recipients loved them.

Has anyone ever heard of Diamond art? I got two sets for Christmas and am looking forward to
learning how to do it.
I’ve never heard of it, but I looked it up and it looks very fun.
