I haven't exactly been looking for adult crafts. I've been inspired to do crafts with my class. Trying to figure out what type of ornaments we could make. Still not quite sure...

But I thought that maybe I'll do a girls craft group once and a week. We could make really cute Christmas cards and hand them out... hmm the ideas are percolating.

These are some of my ideas so far. Definitely may need to be tweaked according to the time limits we have. But I'm so excited I'm actually bouncing at this point. Better slow down on the hot chocolate LOL

Those are really awesome ideas! I love the ornaments and the cookies. ;) I'd love to see some of what you make, if you share them. :)

Haha, you can never have enough hot chocolate! :hrelax:-> :happyblush:

Those seem like really great ideas for crafts, I'm sure the class will love making them. Maybe a ginger bread house as well? Just another idea, lol.

Oh yeah, I could make some kind of tutorial on making an Advent calendar like mine if anyone would be interested. :)

I would love that! Seriously, it would be a lot of work, but if you're looking for a project that would be so much fun.

Thank you! Those aren't necessarily the exact ones I'll do, but it was good to have a backup incase I don't have any other inspirations that come to me. And if I have my head on straight, I'll try to snap some pictures :)

Thank you! I think that some of them I may do with a smaller girls or boys group. Just because then I can have them for a full hour and not have as many kids to worry about.
And I loooove gingerbread houses. My family still makes one every year.
I think that could be so fun with the kids too (even my whole class) but maybe only when we're closer to the end of Christmas and we can justify taking a whole afternoon to learn about... sturdy structures ;) Working in that curriculum!

Awesome! I'm sure whatever you do decide to make will look great! And I'll try making a tutorial in my blog tomorrow, then. :)

I reload ammunition nearly every week for my pistol matches and bear defense guns. I melt lead down and pour it into molds to form bullets...

Need to do more home improvement projects. I've had so many houses over the years that I've done some incredible projects on. Now that I live alone, not terribly motivated to do a lot of major work. I am almost done with rebuilding a guest bedroom. Just need to have the carpet installed. Put in new sheetrock, built a closet, textured it, painted it, and installed all new trim so far...

My last house, I designed and built a gas fireplace on the upper deck for entertaining guests on chilly nights...

Besides guns and home improvement, I've also been working on my old Jeep and getting it ready for more off-road adventures...

Sure! Gingerbread houses are a lot of fun to make, and it's always nice to learn about buildings and sturdy structures haha.
Having a smaller group might be a good idea; hope y'all enjoy the crafts!

I remember begging for and getting a gingerbread house kit as a kid.
It should have been easy enough but everything went wrong. The gingerbread
was dry and wouldnt stick, and I ended up just eating all the candy without making the house.

It's been a while since I've made one, but I was prone to doing the same thing lol.

Reloading your own ammunition must be an interesting hobby. My dad has a shotgun shell reloader, which I've been open to learning how to use. It's just much more convenient to buy the shells preloaded, lol.

Off-roading in the jeep sounds awesome.

Hm, I never made a gingerbread house, but I did make a gingerbread train with my mom one time. It was fun to make and it tasted good, but we probably won't do it again. It seems like we had some trouble with it and it was a lot of sugar. :train::cookie:

Okay, I made a tutorial about how I made my Advent calendar. :)

I remember a few years ago, a friend of mine was making the mason jar/Christmas light things for gifts. Really cool idea...

Lady at work last Christmas gave me a homemade snow globe using a little canning jar...

Those are really nice. I think it'd be really great (if I had kids) to do one of the clear ornaments every year. The little wooden disks are great too.
