hellow guys! You see... my mom is a buddhist... and I'm also a buddhist... but... I really want to be a christian... could somebody help me pray... so that my mom would allow me to become a christian? Thx!! May God bless you alwayz

I will pray for you, cerrtainly. May i ask why you feel that your mum has to 'allow' you to be a christian?...may I also ask you if you have read the Nicene Creed and accept it to be true? (it can be found here by clicking on the link to the rules at the bottom of the page...scroll doen to rule number 6 and you will be able to read the Nicene Creed) Do you pray and ask for the Lord to guide you, and for the grace to follow His direction for your life?

Lord, I come to you with one of the happiest situations I can, that there is someone seeking your love! I just pray that Shepherd's mum will be supportive, and that Shepherd will realise that you can become christian without needing your parents permission. Lord, help Shepherd to talk to you and pray with you, and please give guidance wherever it is needed.

Shepherd, I have had a similar issue - i became a christian against my fathers wishes, he was not a buddhist, but an athiest and still gives me trouble, although i believe that he is coming around to the idea.

If you believe and confess that Jesus is Lord, He has risen from the dead and you have confessed, repented and asked for forgiveness of you sins, than you are a follower of Christ. Continue to pray to Him and if you are able, read His Word (there are online Bibles if you don't have a Bible of your own).
