• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

True. Part of it was that she had a lot of trouble breastfeeding, so her fertility went back up quickly after each birth. Many mothers who favor NFP or Quiverfull will breastfeed for a year or more and use that as natural spacing between births (disclaimer: there's no guarantee that this will work).

Being very natural minded, I actually have heard of this. I doubt I'd try this method for myself though, lol. Too risky in my opinion, because knowing me it would so be my luck that it wouldn't work. :D

If you marry young you can have 12 children by the time you are 30 and even grandchildren. In the days before birth control via pill that was a reality.

as for DINKS the ones I know are infertile or have health issues that stops them having children or married really late. My mum said she had her tubes tied after the birth of my younger brothers, they were twins. (four in my family) I don't know about the marital lives of my aunties and uncles who stopped at two or three children, I don't really ask them that question!

I do think that some married couples just stop having relations at some point but its a mutual decision. I mean you married, you would be discussing this and not be naive about how babies get started lol.
