Imprecatory: it's a theological term for prayers that ask God to judge someone.

Anyway, I know how it is. You do what's right (and it sounds like you are) and trust God for the rest (which, it also sounds like you are). God is the only one that you can trust, and sometimes, it takes God stripping everything else from us to get us to realize that.

I will tell you this, though: I've found that most conflicts between Christians are 90% of the time simple misunderstandings. The rest of the time it's because of sin. Either way, it's a sad state of man. Praise God someday there will be no more sin.

Anyway, let's see if we can get some posting in this RP too.

Yeah, I'm gonna try ("Try" being the operative word) to apologize again and see what he thinks about it, because it's obvious he's mad at me. If not, I'm gonna try and talk to my youth pastor about it, and see how to deal with it Biblically, because as far as I know, I've done everything Biblically (at least, I THINK I remember that Sunday school lesson correctly from six years ago...)

I know I can't control other people, and I've thought through those two days, everything...I cannot for the life of me see what I did wrong.

Speaking of new people coming to power, and new RPG has been created by myself, under The Sky King of Arenia OOC. Since this is the place where all the cool kids hang out, these subsequent cool kids should therefore be in the cooliest RPG since....A long time ago.

So, whatever problem he had with me seems to be resolved...SEEMS to be. He hasn't returned the last text I sent, so I dunno.

Church tonight was awesome. Ever have one of those awesome church sessions you just want to share with the world? Yeah, tonight was one of those.

So this is only my third week at this church, and I've kown a few people there a while, and some people I'm acquiantances of. So the youth director (who coincidentally, is named Chris, like my youth pastor) asks us to take a piece of twine, cut it into three pieces, and braid it. He also asks us to go around the room and say something encouraging to the person right of us. So, we do this whole thing, and then Keith (who's almost like a sub-youth pastor, if you will) says that we need to pray for Emmett's mom, and all this stuff, because they had just gotten kicked out of their house and she had a stroke because of all the stress. And, after we prayed for that, we just went into prayer mode. People kept sharing things they needed prayer for, we'd pray every so often, and then we went to go play Rock Band.

Well, I went back, and I talked to Nathan and Chris, and then Emmett later came in there, and the four of us were chatting and just...Sharing things. I've never shared so much of my innrermost thoughts in my entire life.

Well, since it's been editted, I have no comments. But God knows what we need when we need it. He cares far more about our problems then even we do.

Take it easy, Ninj. A lot of people don't know how to respond to serious, sensitive revelations. It's very awkward for them, and so they try to make a joke, and stick their foot in their mouth. I've done that often enough, and I've had other people do it to me.
I'm sure he didn't mean to slight you, but only to make himself feel less awkward, and in doing so, stuck his foot in his mouth. Just forgive him and move on, even if he did mean to insult you. That's really all you can do sometimes. That and pray.

And Light, it would be nice if you apologized. I'm sure you didn't mean anything by it, but you did hurt his feelings. I know I joke about the sword being more powerful than the pen, but the written word can cut deeper than any weapon, sometimes.

Try to remember, everyone, 90% of conflict is misunderstandings.

And now I sound like I'm preaching. I'll jump off my soapbox, and I'm sorry if I land on some toes. You can all punch me later, I can take it.

Ok, I've tried to "sit back and be a lady" but really... Light, maybe you didn't know that you had offended Nin? Nin, maybe you misunderstood something Light wrote? Or maybe Light wrote something without really knowing how it sounded? It is so hard to gauge intent and tenor and the way someone means something over the internet. Please, the two of you, try to be considerate. Try on one another's shoes. Nothing stinks more than dissension. I'm looking for some new posts here or some edits or something, maybe we can get it rolling again? Nin, I looked at the other RPG. It did look interesting, but I didnt know how to respond at the time. I am interested.

Nin, i've been praying about your other situation, that there is understanding.
