Trying to avoid the cliche, "Christians are just people," but it's so true. What happened to you is so hard and I am thankful you came back. Thanks for coming back. You seem like a true jem, whom God is going to use. Please don't let what people say get in the way of you and Christ. Throughout the bible, who did God use the most? It wasn't the religious leaders!!! Think about it. There is a plan for you.

In general, people in the mental health forums are so very accepting compared to some of the other forums. If you are having a bad day, you just have to say so and people will send you prayers and hugs.

People have said some wonderful things and gave wonderful advice for you. I hope to see you more on this forum!!

Sometimes it's the Christians. Gandhi once said something like "I like your Jesus very much. It is your Christians I don't like. They are not at all like your Jesus."

Christianity is scary to me sometimes.

There were two times that I nearly lost faith in My God and His Son Jesus. However, God never let me go either of those times. And no matter how "protagle" or estranged from Him I ever thought I was, He was ALWAYS there simply waiting with open arms when I threw my pride away and went running back.

He loves us all so very much.

I am so glad you have decided to share all of this with us. May He fill you with His peace and love.
