She insists that someone, somewhere, said this to her, even though no such oppinion has presented itself.and where anywhere in my post did I say that woman are evil?
That is a good point. Most men fully understand that if they act in a manner that is too self centered and thoughtless that all of their friends, and their male family members even, will disown them, possibly even with desicive blows on parting. Women on the other hand can act catty, cagey, manipulative and [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]y and fully expect to get away with it because they are held to a lower standard of conduct. If you want the authority then you are going to have to face the music when it comes to how your conduct is judged as well.Husbands are the head of the household. God holds them to a higher standard in many things.
I know from personal experience in my family that when the women tried to give the discipline they would scream and yell and turn into hags. Men *tend* to be more judicious in their imparting of discipline, even as they are much more effective than women at taking punishment beyond angry banshee screaming to punishments of real consequence.Such as in raising thier children. We see in scripture that God addresses the Fathers when it comes to the discipline of the children and not mothers.
Now this really gets right to the heart of the matter!! It is not that all women are evil, that is an absurd parody of no one's argument, but rather that contumacious women let the devil in just like that *snap*.The witchcraft came with us women not obeying what Gods word tells us to do. To submit to our husbands. Scripture tells us that rebellion is as witchcraft.
IaA, that was a magnificent post!
