Nice rendering translucency. I like it. Would make a very sophisticated holiday card.

The water looks great, and the transition from one area to the next looks natural. For some reason on these the yellow and orange tints seems almost over saturated. But it may have just been the effect of the light at the time.

Been busy with a lot of work art related and other,

I found the colors have to really pushed especially when painting these on location and you are out in the light.

If the colors are not exaggerated, when the painting is brought inside you loose the strength of the light effect.

They really do not photograph well at least by me, i just snap a picture not really concerned how close i am to the actual painting.

The candle work looks good

Ok, so you are pushing them at the time because the natural tendency is to back away on the values when painting in natural light?

I like the overlapping wood segments. It really gives a chance to show the different light planes.

Obama dropped more bombs than Bush. Trumps is dropping more bombs than Obama. No matter what party is in the White House, the wars continue.
EDITED with new version.

Political commentary and caricature on this one. It was hard to find reference material where he was stern, so this is more interpretation.

Essentially, no matter which president is in office, the wars go on.

Obama bombed more than Bush. Trump is on pace to bomb more than Obama.

I have been working 16 hour days, i wish i had time to draw, I will soon, then i will post them.

I need to get some better tools at Walmart, better paper and pencils.

This was for a request to do a character of someone else, so probably not the fashion style I would choose. But that is what makes it fun to try something outside the norm.

i like this one, in particular.

(i admire and appreciate all of the art on this thread, but this stood out for me for some reason....it's peaceful to me.)
