I have seen only one meteor shower: the Perseids, which occur each August 12. It's preey good - about a meteor per minute!

Still, if you are up past midnight, you stand a decent chance of seeing a meteor, regardless of the time of year...

slim depends. If we are close to the tribulation, then this asteroid may be used as judgment and no matter what the scientist come up with, if it is going to be used as a judgment, it is 100% probable to hit something. The scientists - at least what they will say publicly claim almost no chance.

Something very big is about to happen. WWIII is about to break out and Damascus is about to be destroyed --- all that and earthquakes, comets, hurricanes and sun spots - about to get very interesting. Glad I won't be here to see the worst of it.

I think we've been on the verge of WWIII for ages. We are all living on borrowed time. Do not forget the Russians and the Chinese who have never ceased their desire for world domination.

Hi.. good to "see' you... The fall feasts are events soon to come.. and as much prep work as I can think of is being done to prepare for what is to come.. God willing it to be enough for what is to come to pass. May we all be ready for the sound of the trumpets.. and assemble at their sound to do His bidding.

Do you have even a low-powered telescope (or high-powered binoculars)? Jupiter and the Gallilean moons are visible most clear nights and they change positions from night to night, or even from rising to setting. It's a fascinating show! You need at least 35X. Using an instrument with those modest capabilities, you can see a bright white disk which is Jupiter (and even some of its atmospheric bands are visible) and four starlike points which are (from innermost to outermost) Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto!

Comet c/2010 x1 (Elenin)

Closer than the sun. Will be between earth and sun 9/26-9/29 and closest to earth on 10/16. Earth will go through its tail in early November so if it has much of a tail, meteorites and meteor showers then.

Asteroid 2005 YU55 will be between the earth and the moon 11/6-11/12 and be closed to earth on 11/9 ( Path may be affected by comet Elenin (or Elenin's tail) ? )

A couple of other NEO although not as big as 2005 YU55

Orionids night of October 21
Leonids night of November 17
Geminids night of December 13

Currently Jupiter is visible in the night sky and is the largest that it will be this year.

Thats the one, thanks. The color of the star that was illuminated in the vision I was shown was the color of the beryl stone, blueish green.

This is the same color given in the description of the Body of the Man in Daniels vision, in Daniel 10:6.

This is a long but good article on this subject. So many think this is such a non-event, and well it could end up being just that, yet for someone who doesn't believe in coincidences this sure seems to be something to take notice of.

The problem I have with the alignments is that Elenin, Earth, the sun, and whatever planet was lined up were not in the same plane. elenin is coming up from below and will not be in the same plane as the earth / sun until the middle of September. If Elenin caused the earthquakes when it was lined up with the earth/sun/whatever, then there is another force in action that we are not aware of / not being told of.
