THE COMFORTER HAS COME

Upon all flesh in latter days Joel.12:28
God’s Light will dawn as planned
His Wind will blow and where it stays Jn.3:8
They'll learn and understand

Joel’s prophecy we see unfold
The Truth's becoming real
The Spirit that the Lord foretold
Is now in man to feel

Salvation’s Light glows bright and true
God's Fire purges shame
The Promise to His chosen few
Has come in Jesus’ name

Without! the world's still lost and blind
Her eyes fail Truth to see
Fearing The Ghost who'd help to find
The Way to make her free

The Promised One may not be seen
By wayward flesh and bone
Yet Heaven's Gift to Jesus’ queen
Will melt a heart of stone

To those yet lost the perfect Guide
In darkness precious Light
The Comforter of Jesus’ bride
Stands vigil day and night

In Truth He comes just like a bird
To humble sheep astray
Seeing each deed man's every word
The very thoughts we pray


Do not despise what Christ would give
Do not reject The Dove
In Him we learn in Christ to live
In Him we learn to love.

GOD CAN’T EXIST
Wherever Heaven’s boat is missed
Where Satan has man bound
The fool will say God can’t exist
No evidence, is found


With joy they sing the devil’s song
Lustful in self-desire
Wondering then when things go wrong
When death induces fire


Heretics will skit fools will mock
Atheists still run blind
Floundering ignorant on The Rock?
Whilst Truth they fail to find


They'll play the clown prideful and bold
Denying God on high
Then pitiful when growing old
They’ll be afraid to die


Our dreadful past is much to blame
Division has led to fail
Religion’s made most churches lame
Traditions keep in jail


God won’t exist till deep in need
Till lost feeling alone
The voice within, we trust and heed
To melt our hearts of stone


For I was once the devil’s fool
Believing man made lies
But now in Christ a humble tool
Confounds the worldly wise


It takes a child to see The Light
The poor to understand
Lovers of peace to win Life’s fight
And dwell God’s promised land.

I fall on my knees and prasie Your name
From heaven to earth You one day came
Man to save was Your cause
You took our sins, You did not pause

Who am I so feeble and small
That for me You gave Your all
Upon the cross You freely went
Your body tattered, Your energy spent

They laughed at You and called You names
Yet for us You died just the same
Three days you lie within the tomb
The earth was filled with grime and gloom

Then halleluiah!! The third day came
And You walked out, victory to claim
I fall on my knees and praise Your name
Your glory to the world I proclaim...

SIMON THE SORCERER

A man could go to any length
Could open any door
If he could use The Spirit’s strength
He’d have the world and more

So Simon thought he’d play the host –Ac.8:9-25
To Jesus’ promised Guide
He sought to buy! The Holy Ghost
Unlike the chosen bride –Ac.2:38-41

Through miracles, he’d reach his goal
He’d harvest gold and fame
He never thought he’d lose his soul –Mt.16:26
And reap eternal shame

Some even now, don’t understand
What truth this act would tell
They serve themselves like Simon planned
Along their road to hell

This isn’t always so at first
To Christ some hearts were true
But then as if by Satan cursed
For riches they pursue

Their greedy hand will feel no shame
They think to do no wrong
They’ll often use Christ Jesus’ name
To sing their avid song

Is this, what Jesus meant to be?
Disciples, stealing bread!
Should not God’s word be given free?
To save and raise the dead!

Of course a labourer’s worth their salt
Even serving The Lord
But if The Judge sees Simon’s fault
They’ll reap their just reward…

GLOOM ABANDONED
I asked why would Salvation call
Whilst still in filth and shame
Whilst full of pride whilst walking tall
Despising Jesus’ name


For no great deed I could have done
Nor any righteous song
By grace alone God sent His Son
To whom I’d now belong


God saw my filth my deep despair
Serving at Satan’s throne
Yet Jesus took my every care
And brought sweet bliss unknown


Tears soon dried that flowed in streams
Sweet joy caressed my face
As peace beyond my wildest dreams
Came sadness to replace


On humble knees with contrite heart
With all found now within
I thanked my God for life’s new start
For purging free of sin


A smile took shape where once a frown
As gloom made way to Light
As doubt filled walls were broken down
And selfish deeds took flight


Revived, my soul began to sing
I danced Salvation’s tune
Feeling my heart would soon take wing
Above my world of ruin


Above the ashes left behind
Above the rags much worn
I lift my eyes that once were blind
To God and life’s new dawn …

It means loyal, steadfast, or faithful love and stresses the idea of a belonging together of those involved in the love relationship. In Hosea 2:19 it connotes God's faithful love for His unfaithful people. In the OT, communion, delierance, enabling, enlightenment, guidance, forgiveness, hope, prasie, preservation are all based on God's hesed.

LOVES' FAIR HAND
Wandering lonely as a cloud
For treasure lives to fill
Bustling with the maddening crowd
Opposed to Heaven’s will


The devil has man running wild
Satan at beck and call
Till deaf and blind and so defiled
No deeper can we fall


Yet still for more! We seek and strive
Demonic wares to buy
We walk so tall and seem to thrive
And when one day we die


Aghast! We'll see it’s not the end
"Too late" Sad souls will say
But knees no more to Christ can bend
For peace to come our way


We’ll see the root of all known fears
The Truth of Christ on high
Whilst shedding in pain endless tears
But none will hear our cry


However much we understand
Of life’s deep flowing stream
Has God not in His mighty hand?
The answer to our dream


He’s Christ, He’s Lord The King of love
The Prince of peace divine
Calling all sinners from above
To drink of Heaven’s Wine


Accept The Truth Receive The Light
Vacate your house on sand
Depart from shadows of the night
Take hold of love’s fair hand

AND THERE WAS LIGHT
“There is no God” a fool will say
“So who can judge when people stray
The BANG created all we see
Nothing was made by God’s decree”


But truth will always come to light
With wisdom’s dawn comes spiritual sight
Yet fools are blind to Jesus’ hand
Deaf to what The Master's planned


“Let there be light” God’s voice was heard
The Spirit acted out The Word
“Let there be land, let there be sky”
Again the Father spoke on high


God formed the earth He parted seas
Established fish, fruit bearing trees
The sun the moon Pluto and mars
Heaven He filled with jewel like stars


Creatures God made to swim and fly
The birds the beasts, clouds in the sky
The ant the whale, microbe and flea
Nothing evolved, or happened to be


In God’s likeness Adam was made
Never to die never to fade
To walk and live without a care
Jesus planned how all should fare


Yet something failed from Adam’s life
So from man’s rib God made his wife
To these God gave both great and small
Till disobedience brought their fall


Now shattered was The Father’s law
With guilt they bore the devil’s spore
“Leave my presence” once more The Voice
“The devil or I” God gives the choice???

JESUS HAS A ROBE


Salvation has a robe for me
A robe of liquid light
The bible says it’s gratis free
Quite plain in black on white


God has a robe for you there too
It’s written there the same
There’s nothing left for you to do
But trust in Jesus’ name


I’ve read it all, the book’s so clear
God's Word for all to see
If we but call, it says right here
Christ comes to you and me


I called right here beside my bed
I said if You be true
Confirm in me the things I’ve read
Come save and make me new


I heard the voice from God above
I heard Him clearly say
“I’ve come to you with all my love
I’ve come my child to stay”


I heard in truth the living God
I heard, I tell no lie
I heard, though some may think it odd

We have in Christ, a robe to wear
The bible says it's true
God has much more He wants to share

So why not try like me right now
