MERCY IS THE FRUIT OF LOVE

Salvation is a love affair
A covenant of blood
God reaching out with man to share
But few have understood

For who sees Jesus Christ divine
Who does His perfect will
We treat His blood like common wine
Just good enough to spill

Yet mercy is the fruit of love
God’s gift to one and all
If when to Him we turn above
And seek Him when we fall

We’ll know to whom the Wind has blown
To whom God’s Spirit’s sent
For mercy heals when love is shown
When contrite hearts repent

God pours His grace like morning dew
Life’s Truth becomes so plain
Our lives become as though brand new
Through Christ we’re born again

Mercy’s the fruit, of love divine
Of this there is no doubt
I praise the Lord such grace is mine
What hope has man, without

God’s love is true His mercy’s real
We see it every day
So who know how the Lord must feel
To see it thrown away

We must be true from this day on
Our every sin confess
Have faith in God and in His Son
True love won’t stand for less.

THE PAPER CHASE


Upon the street I found a trail
A trail I knew so well
It showed how oft in Christ we fail
To keep a child from hell


Crumpled paper on the ground
How plain was marked the course
I stooped to pick each piece I found
Until I found the source


Upon a bridge he’d made his stand
At first it seemed alone
But when I saw him tracts in hand
The Lord was on His throne


With tender smile upon his face
His aged head aloft
His words were steeped in Jesus’ grace
While man walked by and scoffed


“Please take one friend, I’d like to share
What Christ has done for me
Please take it home and read it there
It comes from God quite free”


“How must you feel” To him I said
“You stand here every day
You give out tracts like loaves of bread
And see them thrown away”


He said. “My friend I can’t complain
In Christ I place my hope
It’s through His blood I’m born again
and so my friend I cope


So here I stand in Jesus’ name
Through such a tract I’m free
I too was lost and blind with shame
But now thank God I see”

HE’S NOT QUITE FINISHED


Most people think God’s far away
To some He’s closed the door
Others suppose God’s nought to say
He hasn’t said before


Some think the bible says it all
We’ve just to sit and wait
Till Jesus makes His final call
Revealing each their fate


So Jesus’ face they fail to seek
For them, God’s out of reach
And so to church they go each week
To hear what man will preach


We must discern the bible right!
Christ’s deeds have never ceased
He’s still today man’s guiding Light
Our Saviour Lord and Priest


“A personal God” who loves to care
So much! He came and died
Then rose again His love to share
Through He who’d dwell inside


Allow today God’s Light to dawn
His Fire burn your shame -Mt.3:11-12
Believe God’s Word become reborn
And lift up Jesus' name


Deny yourself in fasting prayer
Isaiah tells so well -Isa.58:1-14
Your personal friend will soon be there
To save your soul from hell


He'll sever chains all evil ties Lk.4:18-19
Give keys to Heaven's door
Soften more hearts open more eyes
To live forever more.......

Dear Children,


It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some of your predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on what was actually a time of pagan festival. Although I do appreciate being remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your own. I don't care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.


Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santas and snowmen and put in a small Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.


Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree. Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am in relation to you and what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one, look up John 15: 1 - 8.


If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my wish list. Choose something from it:


1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is being celebrated, write letters of love and hope to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year. I know, they tell Me all the time.

2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them personally. They just need to know that someone cares about them.

3. Instead of writing George complaining about the wording on the cards his staff sent out this year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then follow up. It will be nice hearing from you again.

4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and they don't need, spend time with them. Tell them the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in your arms and remind them that I love them.

5. Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her.

6. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own life this season because they feel so alone and hopeless? Since you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you meet a warm smile; it could make the difference.

7. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the holiday, be patient with the people who work there. Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop shopping there on Sunday. If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd close and let their employees spend the day at home with their families

8. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary-- especially one who takes My love and Good News to those who have never heard My name.

9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in your town who not only will have no "Christmas" tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you.

10. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian. Don't do things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your actions that you are one of mine.

Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest. Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you, but the ball is now in your court. And do have a most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and remember

TIME (1)

Before time’s dawn and all God made -Gen.1:1

Gross darkness had on earth to fade

But with the light came time to earth -Gen.1:5

Jesus had known before his birth

Now crucial is this time to all

Yet time, man’s spirit cannot hold -Hos.13:14

Alone to flesh is time a cage -Ro.7:24
That Christ will free one day

Through Jesus’ hand, the sky will fold -Isa.34:4
Time will become no more
Of this the world must now be told -Mt.28:19
Must seek Salvation’s Door -Jn.14:6

For Christ Life’s’ Door, will set her free -Ro.6:3-4
Will keep from sin and shame -Ro.6:18
Then when this age has ceased to be

TIME AGAIN (2)


On earth alone can time be found -1Co.7:29.2Ti.1:9

By time is not the Father bound -Jer.10:10.Da.4:3
Nor Christ His Holy Seed


On this we truly can depend
Though first it may seem odd
A day will dawn that sees no end -Rev.21:23-25
As was and is with God


No sun nor moon will be in sight -Gen.1:14.Rev.20:11
No star, as guide to man -Mt.24:29.Isa.34:4
For Christ alone will be his Light -Rev.21:23.Rev.22:5
As was, ere time began


Then living clay will turn to dust -Gen.3:19
Yet not what dwells within -Gen.3:22
But then will come, what coming must
For those still bound to sin -Rev.20:11-15


Of God! Man’s spirit cannot die -Gal.6:8

There’s class distinction in the bride
Although I’ve taught it’s wrong
It’s caused in some a great divide
Singing the devil’s song

Forming their groups of puffed up air
Their factions walk alone
They’re still on the road to nowhere
With hearts so cold as stone

You all have sinned and fallen short
You all in Christ have need
Although you’ve heard my true report
And sampled Heaven’s Seed

Love one another, Jesus told
I see your hearts from high
Bring all my sheep into the fold
Leave none of them to die

The arrogant walk with prideful mind
The scornful live deceived
So many die because they’re blind
Because of lies believed

It matters not how sheep arrive
What burdens people bear
What clothes they wear what car they drive

Letter From A Friend

I am writing to say how much I care for you and to say how much I want you to know me

better.

When you awoke this morning I exploded a brilliant sunrise through your window hoping to get

your attention, but you rushed off without even noticing.

Later, I noticed you were walking with some friends, so I bathed you in warm sunshine and

perfumed the air with nature's sweet scent, and still you didn't notice me. As you passed by, I

shouted to you in a thunderstorm and painted a beautiful rainbow in the sky and you didn't even

look.

In the evening, I spilled moonlight onto your face and sent a cool breeze to rest you. As you

slept, I watched over you and shared your thoughts, but you were unaware that I was so near.

I have chosen you and hope you will talk to me soon. Until then I will remain near. I am your

friend and love you very much.

With honey in between –Isa.7:15


Once weaned we’re called to God’s elite –Heb.5:13-14
Though young and not quite tough
A soldier needs the choicest meat –Jn.21:17
When milk is not enough –Heb.6:1


Through fire and water troops must go –Isa.43:2
God knows alone how long
So side by side to beat the foe –Ps.91:7
They need of meat more strong


Such food Christ’s church must have in store –Pr.31:15
The choicest in the land –Pr.21:20
How else can soldiers go to war –Ps.144:1
How else are they to stand –Ps.144:12


The time to wait will soon have passed
Then all who truth have found
Will raise the flag that flies half-mast
And rally all around –Isa.11:10…

MAN’S RETURN?

God made the earth and all within
The keys to man He gave
Yet all was lost through Adam’s sin
To which he’s yet a slave

God sees the heart, of those who care
Who seek to understand
He sees each thought, man’s every prayer
Each quest for mercy’s hand

He counts the tears of sorrow’s eyes
His arms, He opens wide
Hearing the groans, whimpering sighs
And calls to come inside

There’s none too vile too full of sin
There’s none too far a-field
God’s arm can’t cleanse, can’t bring within
If to The Truth we yield

It’s not a childish thing to do
Nor is it for the fool
But those who’ll walk with Christ in view
Who'll trust and let Him rule

As Abraham has done before
Who’s faith saw what was planned
On house and home he closed the door
And entered Canaan land

Today; our lands are just as wild
The foe is still the same
But trusting God and reconciled
We’ll fight in Jesus’ name

We’ll fight for all that Adam lost
We’ll fight the holy cause
We’ll fight and win, what ere the cost
And enter Heaven’s doors…
