CRYING IN THE RAIN
“My God I come in deep distress
Disturbed I kneel in pain
To You in prayer I now confess
Whilst crying in the rain

I cry such loud and bitter tears
In life I’m so alone
In Christ I served You many years
But now I’m on my own

Through sin, my shame is hard to bear
I know You’ve seen it all
But at the time I failed to care
So now I’m bound to fall

I vowed to walk Your righteous way
Yet sinned so many times
So now because I chose to stray
I’ll answer for my crimes

I’ve no excuse my God to give
I’m guilty through and through
Yet still I pray You’ll let me live
I promise to be true

I know I’ve said it all before
It seems as though I’ve lied
I’m so afraid You’ve closed Your door
And left me die outside

From grace, my God I fear to leave

THE HILLS ARE ALIVE
The hills are alive in Jesus’ hand
Thriving valleys that understand
God’s creation! Their lives they give
Praising Christ, through whom they live


Praise is heard in a summer breeze
Offered by leaves on rustling trees
Skylark and sparrow join in song
Hear! God’s children all year long


The sun will rise vanquishing haze
The tallest mountains bring forth praise
A babbling brook gurgles in prayer
Listen God’s children all said there


Fox cubs yapping chasing their tails
Red deer frolic deep in the vales
Ripe corn dancing in waves of gold
See God’s children His hand handwork unfold


Trees become naked waiting the snow
Stags in the distance calling the doe
Christ creator of this fair land
Marvel God’s children at Jesus’ hand


Grass white with frost snow on the peak
Rabbits seek cover great eagles shriek
Squirrels seek nuts to store in trees
Wonder God’s children at sight as these


Sheep in the hills birthing their lambs
Beavers busy repairing dams
All were created with loving care
Through the love of Christ to share…….

I thank You Lord in many ways

SECOND BIRTH
Through faith, to God we show true worth
His Lamp then leads to second birth
But not a birth as most presume
We need no more a mother’s womb

The Lord Himself will dwell within
His Holy Flame convicts of sin
The eyes of God compute each thought
In all who trust His true report

With peace and joy He comes from high
The answers to what, to where and why
Power; through grace that none should boast
God’s Guiding Lamp His Holy Ghost

This second chance to live, is free
The price was paid on Calvary
In truth; Christ came to die on earth
That man may live through second birth

Upon the tree Christ bore all shame
That man may bear a brand new name
God’s blood seeped neath the cursed ground
So guilt in man may not be found

In Jesus’ death is Heaven’s door
God opened wide when curtains tore
His precious blood cleans spot and stain
So God may hear from man again

When Christ man laid within the tomb
It served God’s purpose as a womb
When Christ arose from neath the earth
He stood as first with second birth

In Jesus Christ, the same we’ll share
When all life’s cares to Him we bear
When humble hearts see Heaven’s Door
We’ll enter through and die no more...

REDEMPTION’S KISS
The world may see herself as wise
May think she’s strong and free
Yet this is Satan’s sad disguise
To fool both you and me

We ought to see God’s guiding light
The truth of Jesus’ cross
We ought to know the foe we fight
That none should suffer loss

Yet selfish gain remains our choice
For riches still we seek
In wayward sin the mob rejoice
Oppressing old and weak

Of God the world has grown so cold
Her filth but few dismay
Seductive, naked, flaunting bold
The devil’s fool she’ll play

In body, soul, the devil’s bride
Her Godly fear long gone
Preferring Satan as her guide
Rejecting Christ God’s Son

Yet world redemption’s close at hand
Salvation, for her soul
If she’d but turn and understand
The truth would make her whole

But sheer conceit has made her blind
A fool to Satan’s woo
Whispering constant to her mind
He tells her what to do

Yet if her lover she’d resist
How demons quick would flee
When then with truth this world has kissed

10For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

LEST WE FALL
Without true oil, no lamp can burn
The least in Christ this truth should learn
Raise high your lamp however small
Beware God’s child lest we fall

The lamp within that burns now bright
Allow it shine both day and night
So clear to see by one and all
So keep it trim lest we fall

Within God’s child, no dark can reign
No fault wrinkle, no spot nor stain
Evil does evil thus they’d call
Best live true, lest we fall

Who call on Christ, the Lord will save
Who then repent will see no grave
Our God gives lives light to them who call
Yet stay Him true lest we fall

Burn no light for appearance sake
Few thing’s worse than thought a fake
The Lord’s not mocked, He sees us all
So best take care lest we fall

Light shines forth through The Holy Ghost
Whatever’s hid is seen the most
We stand as beacons seen by all
Walk as holy lest we fall

Be examples to all you meet
Differ now! As chaff from wheat
Each lamp must shine when standing tall
Only in Christ lest we fall

Our lights are seen behind locked doors
The world surveys the smallest flaws
Though Satan’s back’s against the wall
Walk in Jesus lest we fall.

A SEED MUST DIE
Though Satan now must eat the dust.. Gen3:14
Many in him yet place their trust
Spirit and flesh will always war..Gen.3:15
While man remains the devil’s harlot

No wayward deed can God abide
From sinful man, His face He’ll hide
Yet in His heart God loves us all
And hates to see His children fall

Man nailed God’s Seed upon the tree
He chose to die to set us free..Rev.1:5
Yet Jesus’ flesh met no decay..Ps.16:10
He lives to show mankind the way

A seed must die within the earth..Jn.12:24
Self’s sacrifice to giving birth..1Co.15:35-49
Upon such love found deep and true
The Lord pours forth His precious Dew

It’s not by might; we win God’s grace
Nor through power, we’ll see His face
The Holy Ghost meets every need..Zec.4:6
To be in Christ a living seed

A dragon though will try one day..Rev.12:4
To steal the woman’s seed away
But Satan won’t find her on her own
God’s hand will snatch us to His throne..Rev.12:5

The seed of light is here to stay..Jn.3:9
From Jesus’ hand we’ll never stray..Jn.10:28
Who live to Christ and not to shame
Will surely rise in Jesus’ name

Arrayed with Flame we too must die..Ro.6:3
So we as seeds may multiply..Ro.6:1
For God in us has souls to save
Then like His Son, we’ll see no grave.

TO LIVE & DIE FOR CHRIST
Christ came to die for man on earth
The facts to understand
The Truth & Way to second birth
And to the Promised Land

Stephen was first in Christ to die
With stones man sealed his fate
He saw before he rose on high
His Lord at Heaven’s gate


The death his Lord had died before
Peter would end the same
Upon a cross in faith made pure
He died for Jesus’ name


God’s servant Paul would lose his head
Injustice drew the sword
Through many trials one more lay dead
Who suffered for his Lord


But who today for truth would die?
If nought would be to gain
If Christ was just another lie!
These deaths would be in vain


But yet they saw they heard God’s voice
They had the truth inside
They knew the Lord they made their choice
And in true faith they died


The world may look and wonder why?
Yet those with saving grace
Will know the reason Christians die
And why we’ll see God’s face


For all who serve in truth like these!
Our God will see no flaw
The Lord will give eternal keys
Opening Heaven’s door.
