When first the Light of Jesus dawns
He breaks in truth the devil’s horns
God’s children see the darkness shrink
As evil’s chains fall link by link

You’ve touched my soul my God so dear
I feel Your presence ever near
I’m all afloat, stomach askew
Life’s so wonderful near to You

Oh Lord my God You’ve now my hand
You’re leading me towards Your land
I can’t sit still so full of zest
My heart thumps wild inside my chest

Within I feel the joys of spring
I love my God and everything-
Around is all creation vast
All is of You my First my Last

Sigh, Sigh, all I can do is sigh
To think of You my God on high
You pour me love I start to cry
Oh Lord my God, again I sigh

Salvation’s love has come my way
I feel it’s wonderful here today
I have my God my heart now sings
And seems to fly on eagles wings

It feels so good that now so oft
My heart takes flight, to rise aloft
I fly so high, oh my head reels
How exhilarating it feels

I speak in tongues, I’ve never heard
Thirst with fever, for every word
It’s not enough a while to read
I need direct from Christ to feed…

Through Jesus’ love I’m flying high
No longer do I wonder why
I see the cross all doubt has gone
I’m so in love with Christ Your Son


Sweet God of love alone who’s wise
I see I’m swimming in Your eyes
The world may think this child a fool
But not who’ve swum Salvation’s pool


Oh God you feel so near, so close
If I’d reach out, my God suppose
I feel Your hand so full of light
Hold fast my heart Lord, tight Lord tight


My heart quickens at such a rate
Bless You Lord the way You state
Your love to me from high above
I’m all wrapped up inside Your love


Since dawn of time Lord here I was
You saw this child and all because
You wrote my name within life’s book
And saw in truth the way I took


Now how much longer will it take
Oh great I am, please let it make
No difference now, to all this love
I hold so dear for You above


The day’s pass by with such great haste

Good morning everyone. I recieved this message in an e-mail this morning and thought it was awesome. The e-mail said to pass it on to all my friends and I thought of all of you. May God richly bless you all today with whatever you need.

AROUND THE CORNER
Around the corner I have a friend, that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,

He knows I like him just as well,

The night my God’s about to quit
The dawn You bring will soon be lit
Sunbeams climb the horizon’s crest
Your children rise content from rest

As darkness fades, the twilight drains
It takes with it my heavy chains
Surely Your peace floods deep within
My heart now fills, let day begin

My Father God, how sweet the night
I felt You kept me in Your sight
Your love for me will all endure
You’re here to stay, You know; I’m sure

Love; does not creep, but floods in surge
In leaps and bounds, it knows no verge
With tender hands, my God on high
Hold fast this heart, that’s soon to fly

The light of dawn presents it’s grace
Night now sleeps and hides it’s face
Oh day of God what do you bring
Perhaps a time love’s song to sing

Oh great “I am” the morn is here
Has it’s dawn brought me a cheer
Why should I fear or even care
Who has Your love need not despair

To me You are the breath each morn
The warmth of Spring with every dawn
Fresh mountain streams run crystal clear

Given of God, sent forth to ease
Uncertainties that life yet brings

I’m full of love with Christ inside
So proud to be Salvation’s bride
I stretch in faith to God my hand
For by His grace I understand

A smiling heart is all I need
Inner contentment so I feed
God’s Ghost within then try my best
To walk in Christ and pass life’s test

Your Fire my God is burning deep
Within my heart I long to leap
Into the air with arms held wide
Declaring love with open pride

Through the Spirit I feel Your touch
Oh sweet Jesus I love so much
I know this love will not retire
But will remain to burn like Fire

My love for You is out of scope

WHERE ANGELS TREAD


We have so much in Jesus’ hand
Such joy such peace and care
Yet still we fail to understand
It multiplies to share –1Ki.17:16

The beggar seen upon the street
The child who starts to cry
Who knows who next we come to meet
Is not from God on high

Within a pew, not finely dressed
Unkempt, with hair askew
Could be an angel’s come as guest
And God is testing you

We need to live with this in mind
Keep watch as Jesus said
Show Christian love to all mankind
And share our daily bread

The Lord, records the deeds we do
Each thought, each word we say
We’ll all receive what each is due
Upon the judgement day

Though many serve and do no wrong
Live lives so pure and clean
They praise the Lord in deed and song
Yet not an angel’s seen

We can’t expect that one will show
Man’s life is not divine
Yet one may come, the way we go
When Jesus’ Light we shine

Treat all we meet as though they were
Why risk a single tear
Phenomenon may still occur
And angels could appear!

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS


Where do they go who cease to be
The Lamb of God gives eyes to see
In Christ we’ll walk God’s hallowed ground
And see where all the rest are bound


Our neighbours may not know they’re blind
They think us strange yet sort of kind
They fail to see as we before
But by God’s grace that’s us next door


They need The Truth to set them free
The Light of God through which to see
When now to these we spread the news
The Truth may change their ardent views


Knowledge of God is near to nought
Seldom in schools is Jesus taught
The worldly youth think Christ a tale
Yet though they’re blind they need no Braille


Spiritual blind to Heaven's Word
Without The Lord it sounds absurd
But Jesus’ sheep who share His Light
Have open ears and brilliant sight


Without the facts, man’s eyes are sealed
Salvation comes that they be healed
By no one else are miracles done
But by the hand of Christ God’s Son


The living Truth is clearly seen
What's soon to come and which has been
When Saul fell blind through Heaven's Light –Act.9:4
Twas Paul who rose with wondrous sight –Act.13:9

Change occurred as he bowed his knee –Act.9:11
The facts in Christ were plain to see –Act.9:18
We all can change, join Jesus' throng –Lk.4:18
Can live, can serve and sing life’s song…

THE REDEEMING CHRIST


Who live to sin are blind and lost
With only self to blame
Who'd be prepared to pay the cost
To free such souls from shame

As God loves man but hates his sin
And sees our lives on high
There’s seems no way for man to win
We're bound one day to die

Yet Jesus came to take our place
To heal and bear our pain
Redeem for God the human race
And give us birth again

To those God’s Son has reconciled
To souls who seek release
It matters not how much defiled
The Lord will give His peace!

There’s nothing else for us to pay
Through Christ, Salvation’s free
We need only to walk God's Way
To humbly bend our knee

Yet while it’s free, we act so dumb
We sing the devil’s lie
We fail to bid God’s Spirit come
To rot in sin and die

There’s nought we have to lose my friend
We’ve everything to gain
By giving Christ our heart to mend
He’ll take our every pain

How soon the Lord will claim His bride
How long is yet to wait
Best waste no time with foolish pride
It could be soon too late.

TO DIE ALONE

At times I thought to have it all
My race of life was won
Until I stood against the wall
Without the Father’s Son

The hand of God was not in mine
Unknown The One who cares
I’d drunk of Satan’s finest wine
And sampled most his wares

Just who on earth could help me now
What force could set me free
I’d heard one’s knee to Christ should bow
If darkness were to flee

But what if now this fool should die
If Life would close it's gate
Would then I rise to God on high
Or would hell’s flame await

Such thoughts I’d never known before
Such fear in flesh and bone
Never I'll enter Heaven’s door
If I should die alone

I knew I had to make a choice
I’d have to take a stand
I raised to God a silent voice
“Please take Your child in hand”

Though still my thoughts were laced with doubt
I knew my heart was right
I knew if God was here about
He’d help me win the fight

Such joy began to flood my soul
Within my heart such peace
I knew this love now making whole
Will never ever cease

HOSPITAL NEWS
Upon her bed a woman lies
Attentive to her neighbour’s cries
A caring nod a friendly smile
As doctors shuffle down the aisle


A nurse then whispers “There now dear
I know your friend’s no longer here
You tried your best to lift her heart
But in the end she had to part”


Her face was gaunt, so pale with fear
When first I saw her wheeled in here
Amazed she turned her frail white head
When first she heard me pray in bed



“Do you believe that God is real?
A God who knows the way I feel”?
“She paused a while then with a sigh”
“I’d like to know before I die”


“For these few weeks I’ve shared God’s word
Throughout the ward my voice you’ve heard
I’ve prayed and sang, I’ve shared my views
To all who came I’ve spread the news


It’s through God’s grace this life we live
While yet I breathe His truth I’ll give
Yes even now my heart takes wing
Whilst telling you of Christ my King


My friend, she smiled with big brown eyes
When late last night with great surprise
She said” “I know just what you mean
Christ came to me and made me clean”


“She turned her head again to speak
Tears of joy rolled down her cheek”
“I now know why Christ died for me”
“Her head fell back, my friend was free”…

“HOLD TIGHT”
“A few will come at feasting time
A few in times of drought
They’ll crave release, from every crime
When faith replaces doubt

Some seek my face in times of war
In sight of death they’ll cry
But when at peace as Satan’s harlot
They’ll wonder why they die

Does God not see man’s wicked ways?
Are thoughts to me not plain?
Can I the Lord not end your days?
Or give you birth again?

The plough I gave for you to hold
The fields are hard and dry
My children die out in the cold
Does no one wonder why?

Let life in truth, be now your choice
Let Jesus be your Lord
Heed well my child Salvation’s voice
Escape my vengeful sword

Take hold; of truth, make Christ your stand
On Him, you can depend
Remaining in His mighty hand
Your life will see no end

Don’t turn as Lot’s uncertain wife
Who’s faith was found at fault
I’ll cut you down as with a knife
To crush as worthless salt

Be faithful now, or not at all
Choose Christ and you can live
Refuse my child will see your fall
