REPENT OR BURN (1)​

Of sin of shame, of evil seen
From filth that leads to hell
We pray The Lord would make us clean
To serve and live to tell​

We frequent church we offer praise
We pray on bended knees
On Heaven’s shore we seek to gaze
Yet God we fail to please​

We brag God’s Spirit’s in our heart
We sing with smiling face
Yet with our tongues we’ll tear apart
Another saved by grace​

Our hateful tongues are never still
Our slanderous ways aren’t few
With smiling face we cheat and kill
And say we’re born anew​

That spoken in the secret sphere
Those chosen words of bile
When Heaven shouts them loud and clear
Let’s see if then we smile​

The Lord God’s eyes are far from blind
He’ll judge the quick and dead
He sees inside each heart and mind
The things we’ve done and said?​

The day when books are open wide
When all has been revealed
Will Jesus see you as a bride?
Whom God has richly sealed?​

Or will you rue your wayward tongue?
The filth you’ve had to tell?
Regret of all the evil sung?
Eternal days in hell…​

How foolish is the wayward mind
Living the devil’s lie
To Heaven’s Truth totally blind
Condemned and bound to die

To love to love to love again
Is Jesus’ royal command
With vicious tongues we serve in vain
As exiles from God’s Land

Best turn our eyes to God above
Pray Jesus gives release
Seek out The Father’s perfect love
And make hell’s tongue to cease

Who’d seek for life’s eternal crown
Should seek for Christ to reign
Promote His love not tear it down
And live to live again

When fellow man’s of no concern
When slanderous tongues endure
As Satan brood we’ll surely burn
On hell’s eternal skewer

Will God condone the deeds we’ve done?
The songs we’ve had to sing
Will then the race we’ve chose to run?
Be pleasing to our King

Consider now! What must be done?
Consider what you say
Consider Jesus Christ God’s Son
And walk His chosen Way

Let’s walk in love let’s live in peace
Help others see The Light
Let love for others never cease
Fighting the righteous fight

MY PERSONAL FRIEND


“Do you recall the time you said
Your Jesus loves me too
Till then I thought that He was dead
He only lived in you

Of God I often heard you speak
In such a personal way
But thought it all as tongue in cheek
Until that special day

The day I thought my heart would break
I harboured so much pain
If God were true I’m sure He’d make
A way to start again

How deep I’d fallen in despair
Too much for me to cope
I thought if Christ was truly there
At least I’d have some hope

That day my world was turned about
Alone! I tried to pray
“If You are real please end my doubt
Come change my life today”

I felt my heart would overflow
The Truth was face to face
A mighty wind began to blow
I felt God’s warm embrace

There’s not a chance that I’m deceived
Although it sounds absurd
I know The Lord that you’ve believed
Is Christ who’s voice I’ve heard

I know my risen Lord is true
I know I’ll see no end
I know by grace I’m born anew
Through Christ my personal friend”

The Boat of life is close at hand
The Pilot’s Christ The Lord
He’s heading for The Promised Land
With those who'll climb on board

Reservations have long been made
Through love of He who died
So with one's passage sorely paid
Take now your place inside

The tide’s long in, the wind’s just right
Soon light will start to fail
Come join the crew dressed all in white
Let’s hoist for Heaven sail

Make free each rope yet tightly bound
Cast off the man made dock
Lay course towards The Hallowed Ground

Yet Hiel; raise its walls once more
To son Abiram’s cost Abiram = Loftiness
Then with it’s gates, God’s wrath he saw –1Ki.16:34
When young Segub was lost Segub = Elevated



Today we all have built up walls
That Satan helps to build
They make us deaf when Jesus’ calls
Behind such walls we’re killed



These walls are sin the devil’s spore
The filth he loves to give
They keep us from Salvation’s Door
From grace God’s Way to live



We need to rid ourselves of sin
No more to live a lie
So Satan has no place to win
And make God’s children die



Deceitful bricks with stones of doubt
Cemented firm with lust
The strongest men can blow and shout
These walls won’t turn to dust



Nothing on earth can bring them down
With Satan at their core
To bring to fall our sinful town
Will take today much more…

No trumpets men to play

His Truth to show The Way –Jn.14:6


We must accept The Holy One! –Jn.13:20
God’s Child of virgin birth –Isa.7:14+Lk.1:26-33
Believe The Christ His faithful Son
Who came to die on earth


So fulfilling His Father’s will
Foreseeing all the pain –Lk.22:42
God’s Lamb came down, so man could kill Jn.12:27
As First to rise again Lk.24:39


Now to our self we too must die –1Pe.4:7
For self’s the youngest child –1Ki.16:34
Then God will build the wall up high –Isa.58:12
Of all those reconciled


The walls Christ promised to prepare –Jn.14:2
A mansion strong and true
A taste of all He has to share –1Cor.2:9
For servants born anew


Exchanging shame for robes of white –Rev.6:11+7:13
His form for flesh and bone –Rom.8:29
In place of sin God builds with Light
His house of living stone –1Pe.2:5


We too may rise like Christ one day –1Th.4;16
When void of spot and stain –Eph.5:27
For Jesus came to show The Way –Jn.14:6
With Him to live & reign


For no one lives to self-alone –Rom.14:7
But to The Lord above –Rom.14:8
Then we who once were flesh and bone
May share the Father’s love.-Col.1:12+Eph.3:-…

GOD IS NOT TO BLAME


This world’s in such an evil state
As anyone can see
Yet some blame God some others fate
Or is it you and me

Most live to do just as we please
With only self in mind
Hardly a thought of bending knees
While Satan keeps them blind

It’s not God’s plan to bring us down
To see His children cry
To rob them of their promised crown
Nor make them sick and die

For Jesus comes to raise man up
To lift us from the dust
But we instead drink Satan’s cup
Till full of selfish lust

Just what on earth has Christ to do
When Heaven’s Spirit’s grieved
But let our wars disasters too
Show God is not deceived

Though those now humble at His feet
Who live to Christ each day
Will live and grow as golden wheat
And learn to walk His way

The Lord is not to blame dear friends
What happens here on earth
It’s up to us to make amends
Through He who’ll lead from birth

We must be free of filth today
Receive the Living Dew
Ask Christ as Lord, to come and stay
And start life’s walk anew

THE VALUE OF PEACE


We thank the Lord for love and grace
For peace that reigns within
Yet spit upon His righteous face
Each time we turn to sin


We know the devil’s out to cheat
He’ll rob to keep us blind
He’ll kill the lamb, tear out the wheat
And cheat man’s troubled mind


Each time we drink satanic brew
Each time God’s plough we fail
We'd crucify the Lord anew
With yet another nail


We need to feel our Saviour’s pain
The needless hurt we cause
Instead like fools we stoop again
Like Satan’s wayward harlots


How cunningly he sneaks inside
How gradual duties cease
Our shame from God we’ll try to hide
Loosing thereby our peace


It’s only then, when peace has gone
When havoc shows its teeth
When horror reigns without God’s Son
That hell calls out beneath


It’s only when we fear to burn
We fear in shame to die
When troubled hearts begin to yearn
For that which none can buy


It’s only when we seek release
We knock Salvation’s Door
We seek God’s love His grace and peace
And life forever more
