No. I am just trying to bring out a concept that you have stated when you said that Abraham is the spiritual father of ALL Nations that come to Christ. I said that because we have come to Christ we are spiritual Jews because we have become Abraham's seed and he is our spiritual father. Everyone who comes from Abraham's lineage are physical jews. So we who become his spiritual children are spiritual Jews. Are you understanding what I am trying to say.

Yes . Isn't it amazing that those that claim complete understanding of the Sabbath would know so little of the subject that they call Jews to be all of the physical descendants of Abraham instead of Judah ( Abraham's great grandson ) ?

And , isn't it also amazing that the Law was given to all of the Israelites in the desert and *their* descendants - not to those generations between the birth of Jacob and Moses - and those who know so much of the Sabbath think that the Law was given directly to Jacob ?

No wonder they have confused to whom the Law was given and to whom it was not .

No special day and no special ceremony/order of service/worship is commaned to the NT church and Christ spent a great deal of time slamming the ultra-religious for the bondage they placed the people under.

On this Memorial Day I hope you take some time to reflect on the freedom we have in Christ and the freedoms our troops help secure for us.

This just baffles me. I will never understand why Christians mock the holiness of God.

Just because you refuse to observe God's commandments because you've become victim of the belief that they are burdensome, impossible to keep, for the Jews only and etc (I could go on forever ).. but it's not only that you chose not to observe them but you chose to mock them and joke around about these commandments which are HOLY. The commandments are HOLINESS DEFINED.

Can we not be as children with humble hearts? Why must a disagreement lead to mockery of YHVH's holiness? It's just ridiculous... you are called to be holy! "Be holy for I AM holy". You can continue to not observe them or not and believe whatever you'd like, but if you further chose to mock them and make fun of them then you will only eventually make yourself an enemy of God because they represent His holiness and it will be His holy commandment that you will be mocking.

It is the mock holiness of Sabbatarians that is the issue. Obviously. that is extremely judgemental.... God looks at the heart.... what are you looking at when you have been told not to judge.


Burdensome? One hour in 168? Come on! The shabbat lasts a whole day!

Why is keeping the Sabbath religious bondage. So Jesus was in religious bondage? And mind you he did keep the Sabbath the way it was supposed to be kept. Was Jesus endorsing religious bondage when he said, Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: ?

Will God be placing us back in religious bondage in the new heavens and earth?

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

I can't see how setting apart the day that was blessed and sanctified at creation in Eden, for fellowship with God and brethren, could be a religious burden.

It is not our special day. We did not make it special but God did. The ceremonial Sabbaths and feast days were fulfilled in Christ because they were connected to the ceremonial system. The Sabbath was not connected and was made before the ceremonial system was even made. Thus it still stands.

We can worship when and where we wish. We have such freedom in Christ.

You can do what you want. What we are saying is that it is wrong to neglect God's holy Sabbath.
