Not sure where to put this, but I'd like some critique on this. Where is the proof and evidence that God exists? So creation requires a Creator huh? I look around me and I see people. People come from people. First people that evolved came from multicellular organism etc. Mountains and valleys were made because of natural disasters from Seismic activity etc. Grass is green because of photosynthesis. Where is God in that? Can God walk and talk?

Where did the multicellular organism come from? And even if we figger that one out, why did it come from the rock or whatever? What is the purpose of our existence? If there is no creator then ultimatly when humans are extinct there will be no purpose to our having existed. Without a creator we are without ultimate purpose and no destiny but oblivion.
There is no proof God exist nor is there any proof or evidence that we exist simply as an act of nature with no purpose and no destiny.

Well if you're looking for this, it's most likely that you have bad news.
The other possibility is what you have in mind by your term "God" is more like Monty Python's cardboard cut-out, than anything any major religion has ever espoused.

God says, in the bible, that he isnt like us, his ways are not like our ways, and his thoughts are not like our thoughts.

So he tells us that he does not live in time and space, that he is outside of it - he is eternal.

That is all I can say, if you want to know more about him, I suggest you read the bible, start at Genesis, it tells you how he ade everything for us.

It is there for all who Ask Seek and knock for it.

Name something that has been created without a creator.

All of these things have one thing in common with belief in God.. Faith. you have Faith that your "facts" are correct.

Where is God in that?

Where is faith in God? It depends of the person doing the asking.

Can God walk and talk?

He did about 2000 years ago.

There seems to be two possibilities on the 'who caused what' thing.

1. There's a timeless thing that caused everything else, either God or a timeless physical object. It doesn't need a cause.
2. You can go infinitely far back into the past, into cause and effect, and it doesn't stop anywhere.

(2) is a bit hard to believe because it feels like the universe is a bit like someone counting from 1 to a million, then a trillion, until they finally reach infinity and there are no more numbers left (or rather from infinity down to the present).

If the answer is (1) and God doesn't exist, then why did a timeless physical object, with no free will or intentions, cause a universe of time? It seems a bit random.

God is infinite and is supernatural-he therefore doesn't have a beginning.

God's cause - he created for his pleasure and He first loved us.

Perhaps everything does not have a beginning. God is believed to have always been. It is sort of like what was before the big bang?

Where is the proof and evidence that God exists?

The evidence that God exists is in how He changes our lives when we allow Him to. The evidence of God is in our love for one another, in peace that comes in the midst of the storms, joy in the midst of sorrow, etc. (Gal. 5:22-23) It is not only evidence of God but it is also evidence of the true believer, the believer who has a relationship not a religion.

The creation testifies to who God is, it is not the evidence of His existence.

You might find that it makes sense to have your perception of G-d as "the uncaused cause."

why did God exist?

That is not a mystery; it is truly a question w/ no answer.

G-d DOES exist, which is one of His attributes. He has many of those, and you actually are aware of at least some of them. This is one that you haven't come to terms with yet, or possibly it hasn't been revealed to you yet. Your interest alone is enough to prove He is interested in doing something about that ...

When the Big Bang theory was first suggested, Albert Einstein was deadset against it. He believed that the universe had always been as it is now, and would continue to always be as it is now. Einstein was asked one time whether he believed in God. Instead of saying,"No." he said, "I believe in the God of Spinoza." Since he was a Jew, that sounds fair.
