What is it, exactly? How do we know if we are making progress? How will we know if we have arrived?

I agree. I think unity is made apparant when we can acknowledge and accept our differences, love and value each other regardless, and keep our hearts focussed on what we all share in common, which is the love of our Lord, and the desire to make his love known in the world. It's like a family - everyone is different, and everyone has their unique role to play, but the family is still a unit.Jamza said:I think in a sense we are united. There is a lot we can all agree on. The differences are slight but because of the way different theology and forms of worship are played out things appear to be more different than they are.

How do we know if we have arrived? We have arrived. We just don't all know it yet.

That would be wonderful, if we could do it without any conditions.gtsecc said:When we all acknowledge that we are all in communion with eachother.
As someone else said, I think we ARE there but haven't realized it. We're bound together by our baptism in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Naomi4Christ said:What is it, exactly? How do we know if we are making progress? How will we know if we have arrived?
