actually God also talks about death to homosexuals

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
The Old Testament also says to stone children, burn witches, and not wear 2 types of fabric. How many people obey those laws? Again, we're back to the singling out one particular sin.

Ah, so because some people choose to be pedophiles, that makes homosexuality the most destructive sin? You think the abuse of 10s of thousands of children is bad? How about the billions of people, many of which are children that are starving to death because of corruption and greed? Or how about the millions upon millions of people murdered every year? Guess those aren't as bad as those evil homosexuals...

Lord I pray you let me keep my outrage inside and express myself in a calm and clear way.**

Being gay does NOT mean you are a pedophile. Being gay does NOT make you a predetor.
Being gay does NOT make you violent.

Perhaps you should have included a prayer for discernment of the truth. Between that and Google you wouldn't have been making statements you cannot substantiate except for the misinformation the gay community puts out.

A small sampling:

There you go. Just a few articles of the many available. Still outraged? You should be but not at me.

I think some people believe (probably due to political correctness, the media and homosexual publicity) that any objection to homosexuality is homophobia and bigotry.

Seeing as there is no rational reason to be opposed to an individual being a homosexual, there is really no other reason other than hatred and homophobia that one would oppose it.

Aids for one.

Most people infected by AIDs are heterosexual and got it though heterosexual intercourse.

Two- A tendency to involve minors.

Pedophilia is not a sexual crime, it is a crime of power like rape. most Pedophiles that molest young boys are heterosexuals.

Percentage wise homosexuals are at a much higher risk. Historically Aids got a foothold through the gay community. Do the research.

If a male pedophile molests a young boy he has demonstrated homosexual tendencies. This at best puts him in a bi-sexual category.

Maybe true in the 70's, but not today. Percentage wise AIDs is spreading among heterosexuals far quicker than homosexuals.

Don't talk about a subject when you clearly know nothing about it. The psychology of a pedophile is complex, but fundamental to it is that it is not motivated by sexual pleasure or even sexual attractiveness. It is all about power, pedophiles are attracted to an certain child because of many things, but their sex is not one of them. Molesting a young boy is not a homosexual tendencie and does not indicate that the individual is a homosexual.

Then substantiate your opinion with something more then just your own words. You have already been proven incorrect earlier in this thread.

Why don't you stick to the topic and leave the judgements about my knowledge of the subject to those more qualified.

Most of the human race has motivations other than love in their quest for sexual gratification. Their personal preference for appropriate sex partners is still an indicator of whether we label them hetero or homosexual.

Here is an article from an unbiased source that does NOT have an anti-gay or pro-gay agenda.

NATIONAL RAPE/SEXUAL ASSAULT STATISTICS
According to a study conducted by the National Victim Center, 1.3 women (age
18 and over) in the United States are forcibly raped each minute. That
translates to 78 an hour, 1,871 per day, or 683,000 per year.1
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, nearly 6 out of 10 rape/sexual
assault incidents are reported by victims to have occurred in their own home or
at the home of a friend, relative, or neighbor. 2
51% of the sexual assault cases studied in the Women’s Safety Project survey
were committed against young women between 16 and 21 years old. 3
In 29% of rapes, the offender used a weapon.4
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, an estimated 91% of the victims
of rape and sexual assault are female and 9 % are male. Nearly 99% of the
offenders they described in single-victim incidents are male.5
Rape or sexual assault was the violent crime least often reported to law
enforcement (28%). 6
Only 16% of rapes are ever reported to the police. In a survey of victims who
did not report rape or attempted rape to the police, the following was found as
to why no report was made: 43% thought nothing could be done, 27% felt it
was a private matter, 12% were afraid of police response, and 12% felt it was
not important enough.7
13.3% of college women indicated that they had been forced to have sex in a
dating situation.8
In a national survey 27.7% of college women reported a sexual experience since
the age of fourteen that met the legal definition of rape or attempted rape,
and 7.7% of college men reported perpetrating aggressive behavior which met
the legal definition of rape.9
Page viii
Among developmentally disabled adults, as many as 83% of the females and 32%
of the males are the victims of sexual assault.10
The National Violence Against Women Survey found that rape is a crime
committed primarily against youth. Of the women who reported being raped
sometime in their lives, 21.6% were younger than age 12, 32.4% were ages 12
to 17, 29% were ages 18 to 24, and 16.6% were over 25 years old. Thus, 54% of
women victims were under age 18 at the time of the first rape and 83% were
under the age of 25.11
Between 1/3 and 2/3 of known sexual assault victims are age 15 or younger.12
The rate of rapes and sexual assaults against lesbians and gays, rose 13%
nationally in 1995-1996, approximately twice the 6% rate for all violent
crimes.13
16% of male students surveyed by the Ms. Foundation who had committed rape,
and 10% of those who attempted a rape, took part in episodes involving
multiple perpetrators.14
Women with disabilities are raped and abused at a rate at least twice that of
the general population of women.15
4 out of 5 students (81%) have experienced some from of sexual harassment
during their school years. 16
An estimated 92,700 men are forcibly raped each year in the United States.17
77% of completed rapes are committed by someone who is known to the
victim.18

I am sure. We can know this by His Word.

Mark 7:21-23
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

1 Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

And why do you have any reason to suggest that sexual immorality amongst homosexuals is any worse than sexual immorality amongst heterosexuals?

Why do homosexuals need to be specifically targeted?

Well that Scripture does go on to speak to those whose bodies are the Temple of the Holy Ghost and how their bodies should be taken care of.

One sin or many does not justify a lifestyle of sin for another though.

Gluttony, while a sin against others, is also a sin against your own body. It is not healthy and doesn't preserve the temple. Abuse of drugs and alcohol are sins against your body. They are destructive to yourself and don't preserved the temple.

Seems to me this defends the point that homosexuality, if a sin, is a sin equal among other sins and shouldn't be "picked on" when the others are dismissed.
I think it's because like someone said, noone is saying murder, whoremongering, etc. isn't sin.

This might be the reason it 'seems' to get picked on.

imo

In 2007, the fastest growing group of people with AIDs, is in fact WOMEN. AIDs hits everyone. Yes, homosexuals were the first ones to be targeted, and then their #s declined as others grew due to needles, blood transfusons, etc... If you were propositioned by gay men, than yes, that is wrong..@ 16. Forced...hmmm...not sure what you mean by that, but again, it is the person..NOT the homosexual person. Most child molestation cases, BY FAR, are from heterosexual men, AND for the most part, it is someone that is a close friend to the fmaily. Long term ramifications of those acts can be damaging, but not nearly as bad as women whom are raped..and by heterosexual men at that. Again, let's be honest here. Thanks.

Good... and this has what to do with homosexuals, specifically, that it doesn't have to do with heterosexuals?
Enemy...it's just another thread of fundamentalists that are obsessed and over the top with their sexual issues. Never before I came to this forum had I realized...quite shocking. For many, pleasure in life is always equated to sin. When they make their bodys out to be temples of destruction, sin, filth, etc...there's a problem there, and they begin to use the gross misuse of the bible to pull scripture to show it. Truly sad...but again...it's the way they practice their beliefs. The way they did it with slavery, they did with segregation, they today do with homosexuality...Oh well..what can you do.

Lion, you are SOOOOO wrong with what you've stated here. Typically I'd read and just think it's someone's opinion and then leave it go. What you have stated is just incorrect at so many levels. Victims are one thing..and there are by FAR more victims of sexual abuse by heterosexual men than homosexuals, sherely by the population alone. Second of all, they are COMPLETELY different. Pedophila is a crime for starters. Secondly, most cases show that it is from a family member/friend. Also, there is a GROWING number of FEMALE teachers that have been arrested for this with their teenage MALE students. What happened in the Catholic church is tragic at best. The church covered it up without bringing charges against these men, and it grew and grew until it finally collapsed from the inside. It isn't a "catholic" thing as just on 20/20 a few weeks ago, it showed over 600 baptist preachers that were arrested and charged for the same types of crimes. Sure, those kids that were violated have a right to be afraid, but not afraid of homosexuality. A woman being raped by a man is far more likely to happen, and you don't expect women to go through out their lives fearful of men..although some do unfortuantely. Again, you are comparing apples to oranges and it can not be done.
