Christian Books

Hi! Just wondering if anyone has read any good Christian literature lately? A few good ones I read, "Eli" which was great, and "Tears From Heaven" by Bill Meyers. And an excellent end-times trilogy , called, "The Christ Clone Trilogy". They are written by James BeauSeigneur. Any suggestions for me would be greatly appreciated. :)

I haven't had much of a chance. I'm taking a class called Religion in America and trying to get my reading done for the class while working full-time is tough enough. But hopefully over the next couple of weeks I'll be able to get some fun reading in. :)

The Francine Rivers series of novels about women in the lineage of Christ is EXCELLENT! My favorite is Unveiled, the story of Tamar.

Also check out an older series by Marjorie Holmes: Two From Galilee, Three From Galilee, and The Messiah.

And if you haven't read the Left Behind series yet, get started! You won't be sorry.

The Mitford series is really good. It's easy reading too, funny, entertaining, romance, drama,a bit of everything. Author is Jan Karon.

Also I recently read The Atonement Child by Francine Rivers. That one kept me RIVETED.

Happy reading!

There's just too much darn fiction out there to choose from. :) Hopefully I'll be able to read something from Frank Peretti sometime in the future. What do u recommend?

I don't read many Christian Fiction Books, but I do read Christian Liturature.

I have been reading two books for Pastors, which I have enjoyed:

1) Rediscovering Expository Preaching by John MacArthur and the Master's Seminary Faculty

2) The Reformed Pastor by Richard Baxter

I am reading those books by Oswald Sanders,
currently I am reading:

Spiritual Leadership

and

Men from God's School

Yet I think you got to find time to understand and reflect what the books said and read the quotes the book used from the bible. Hope you find joy in learning about the gospels and salvation.

"Left Behind!"

I say the whole Left Behind series, I'm up to book 3 and each book has gotten better. Know over 4 people that are reading the series and loving it right now. Might be the best selling Christian Fiction series ever!
