The Screwtape Letters are VERY interesting reading. If you want some really good Lewisian fiction, read Til We Have Faces. It's awesome. And of course the space trilogy (Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, That Hideous Strength), which is NOT science fiction, is also great reading.

Leota's Garden. Lovely book!

And though it's not strictly Christian, I loved Angry Harvest because it dealt with the problem of tacit evil being disguised as Christian propriety.

I read and enjoyed Out of the Silent Planet, too! I'd like to read it again now that I'm a little older and have learned so much more about the faith.

so far i have only read a couple of books written by popular ministers such as Paula White, Joel Osteen, and TD Jakes.. these writters are very motivating and their messages are parallel with the word of God.. i would just go into each book knowing it holds A LOT of power, so patience and understanding are vital.. it takes me a while to get through each, but i always come away with fresh new insight and excitment about life <3
