On the main menu of forums near the top (I think) is an announcement forum with all the things you need to know. I think its close to where we can read the CF newspaper, but I'm not positive. I've been a forum member for just under a year and I just found the announcements last week.

Hello, everyone,
It is very nice to be back and chit-chat. Last week was a "funny" one, besides the fact that we did not have the CF. Sunday my late fathers place was emptied (the final stage) and rented. All those small and seemingly insignificant things came to my house. Grief, fresh and powerful, hit me unexpectedly. Two and half years since my father's passing I was grieving all over again. I did not expect this new emotion. Besides that, I was downhearted and terrible to be with. Then on Monday I hear on TV that January 24th is suppose to be the worse day of the year on the emotional level. Go figure! After a few difficult days and much prayer, I am better. God got me through this one. But now one of my guys at work (and a friend BTW) is not talking to me. I think 1/24 had a delayed reaction on him.

Diana, still praying for you . I still have periods of grief for my dad's loss even though he's been gone almost 10 years now. The void his loss made in my life has been difficult to fill, but I rejoice in knowing I'll see him in Heaven!! Hope all of you are doing well today. I have to admit I'm not enjoying posting as much with all the bugs that are still nagging everyone!! At least I can post a message here and there. God bless you all this day and every day.

What I find particularly frustrating is clicking on the little "tag" that should take me to the first unread post takes me instead to the last page, even if there are MULTIPLE pages between the last unread post and the last page. Then I have to try to remember when I was last reading here at CF and then scroll back, page by page to find where I "left off". Which results in reading posts out of correct chronological sequence, which really gets me confused (not that it would take all that much ha!ha!).

My other frustration with the new forums is the teeny, tiny font size that's the default font size. Maybe those twenty-somethings can read it, but not my 54-y.o. eyes. ha!ha!
