David RIng spoke at our church several years ago. What an amazing example of God's grace.

I got the lawn mowed this morning. I wish I could do it earlier but the mosquitos are so bad that I have to wait until at least 9. I am way behind in reading the books I have started and need to get back into it. That's my chit-chat for the day.

Mowing. That's what I need to do. Rain is in the forecast for the next few days. We need it so badly right now. Everything is so dry. We have some grass that has hardly grown at all since last mowing, and some, I call it water grass, that just shoots up in a couple days. It's hard to keep up with.

I wanted to be amazing, but never made it to that level.

I just bought a new lawn mower at Sears. It's too heavy to get out of the trunk. I have no man around here. Just Jasper. Now if he gets it out of the trunk for me, my next post here will be from the loony bin.

It's sooo dry here, my sons haven't had to mow for a month. The weatherman gets excited if we get .03. The soakers keep missing us; could sure use one.

Migs, I hope one of those guardian angels shows up for you and gets your lawnmower out of the trunk.

You all can have some of my rain. We have had plenty of rain this summer the lawn grows and the mosquitoes flourish. Today I found an old tire on the side of the house that has been collecting rainwater and I'm sure contributing to the bug population.

Our rain has only been a sprinkle. I was out washing the van when it started and didn't even stop. I didn't get wet at all.

I got most of the mowing done today and Mandy will finish up tomorrow, if it doesn't rain. Ha!

We got a bit of much need rain this morning. My boys were still able to go on their overnight camping trip. Yey! as much as I adore those young men, I sooo needed a break. Relatively small house and teenage boys don't breed peace and quiet. Don is watching videos, so I'm enjoying time online and soft rock on the radio. with school supplies and a little credit card debt, Don and I can't really afford dinner out. Oh well, still won't cook much. Cooking's not my thing anymore. Don and 17-yr-old Nate do the cooking.

Welp, the boys had a good time camping. The 17-year-old especially enjoyed it. Don let me skip church today to enjoy another quiet day. I had the house to myself until 5:30pm.

7 channels 24 hrs; it's great.

I know that here in the states we have Christian satelite called Sky Angel and I have heard good things about it. I think it only costs 10 or 15 dollars a month. Questions for Macca.....What kind of programing do you get other then religious? Is there a movie channel, sports? I have considered looking into it myself but I'm not sure my husband would go for it because he likes to watch sports.
